I have a few short term stays in these townhouse. This give a large group the ability to rent more than one space very close to each other. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open, which makes for a nice. The open space on the first floor makes for a nice common pace for people to hangout with each other.

Our host was very quick to respond to questions and concerns. The townhome is conveniently located near interstate and main roads to access shopping and other amenities. We were very thankful we could bring our pets and also enjoy having the family members we were traveling to visit hang out in a more comfortable space. We did struggle with the main floor being cold while the upstairs bedrooms were hot, but we adapted by adjusting the heat and wearing thicker socks. I would encourage slippers for your comfort. We would gladly stay here again and plan to on our next visit to town.
We stayed here for a week and this place has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay! Having all the kitchen and even bathroom amenities is so helpful. We used all the appliances and everything worked well! A nice, cool air conditioned place to come back to and relax was also very nice, especially after being out in the August heat!
We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious townhouse. It was incredibly comfortable ans just what we needed for our brief visit to Mitchell. The host was very communicative and helpful.
Property was clean and space was quiet. Air conditioner works. Coffee pot had a missing lid and the wrong filters and made for coffee grounds in the coffee and the coffee cups need to be updated as they were broken and chopped and missing handles. Other than that was a nice stay.
The townhouse was just as advertised. The host was responsive and friendly. We were glad to use this townhome as our "home base" while visiting family.

Godd property
Some cleaning issues. Bed Rooms were clean and nice. There was Stuff in garage and back patio that should have been cleaned up. Didn't affect our stay though. Nice place. Will stay there again. Worked well for us!!
Keep your shoes on… the floor was so dirty the bottom of our feet were black. Also had a bad grease ant problem in the kitchen. We had to throw a jar of peanut butter away because ants took it over. Light bulbs out in a couple bathrooms. Towels were stinky.
We were very happy with everything the only improvement we suggest is the backyard it is full of weeds and seems they just use a weed eater which left high stalks of some weeds some people tripped on them We were a large group that stayed there together. Maybe seed it all down or put pavers down so you can be past the patio They didn't sweep the patio at all at our place
We will gladly stay there again
We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a good location and all appliances were in good working order. Living room furniture was very comfortable. Some of the beds were comfortable. The bedroom with one bed was very uncomfortable! That bed needs a new mattress, or at least a quality mattress topper. We recommend reattaching the bathroom wall hooks- they are not secured to the walls.
We would have appreciated our welcome info sooner. The list of places to eat and things to do came on the second day of a two night stay.
Destiny was great to work with until I messaged about issues I thought needed addressing after we left for future guests. Then I had no response, which was not a huge deal. But I am hoping she took my notes. There were multiple little things that just gave an overall sense of wear and tear, missing towel hook ripped off wall. Big scratches piece missing from the drywall in one bedroom. And then some stuff that just showed icky lack of cleaning to me. Socks under the bed we found as we dropped something and went to pick it up. Water standing in shower and sink drains when we’d use. SNAKE THE DRAINS. so off putting as a guest. We ended up not using the showers and going to my moms instead because I don’t want to stand in whatever is clogging the drain. Then there we .22 shells and shotgun shells laying around. Pheasant feathers and deer skull in garage which I’m assuming were from last hunting. Overall we did just fine staying here. But I wouldn’t book again if the cleanliness doesn’t improve.

Disappointing to say the least…
We booked this place for a wedding weekend since we would be able to cook and accommodate our whole family. We booked based on the good reviews but unfortunately the cleanliness, lack of communication and no pet friendly areas made this a challenging stay.
Our first night of sleep was rough due to unclean sheets. The following day we washed all 5 beds sheets and when we went to put them back on their were multiple stains from a previous stay that could’ve been from pet urine, sexual intercourse or who knows what. Quite disgusting to say you wash someone else’s sheets and the stains don’t come out. On top of that, bath towels smelled like cigarette smoke and air return vents were caked in dust and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years.
Regarding allowing pets, we thought that would be great, but the “backyard” is more or less a 5 foot space with weeds with burrs and 0 grass. The front is all cement and there is no good area to allow your pet to go to the bathroom. We ended up driving our dog to a park 3 times a day for potty breaks.
To cap all of this, I sent multiple messages to the owner asking for a solution specifically to the dirty sheets and my only response was an automated message telling my family our checkout was at 10AM. It’s quite unfortunate because the units all seem to be brand new, but somehow this place hasn’t been maintained whatsoever. It could be a cleaner issue, but the lack of communication is a huge deal breaker.
Hey, I am Destiny. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, keeping house plants (I am always looking for fun new plants), gardening, and playing the piano. I am the Vice President of Mid Dakota Properties, which has approximately 350 rental properties in Mitchell and the surrounding area. I am a wedding photographer for Complete Weddings and Events and Brittanyography.
My husband and I have a farm with lots of fun animals. We have goats, chickens, 2 dogs, quail and guineas. They are so fun to care for and have around. We also get to enjoy fresh eggs and soon some goat milk!
