House was very clean, and had dishes in the kitchen available to use. Plenty of space and privacy. Very nice yard. We were close proximity to hiking hills, horseback riding and shopping. Check out and in was simple. We would love to go back and stay there again.
The place is cozy and quiet. It did smell of mold when we got there. Happy to have K-cup coffee pot. I was really disappointed in the hot tub. The jets didn’t work well and using regular bleach was overwhelming.

We take feedback from our guests seriously, but we do want to clarify that the claim about using bleach in our hot tub is completely inaccurate. Bleach is not what we use to maintain our hot tub, and we would never encourage anyone to soak in improperly treated water. Hot tubs require specific water-care products and proper chemical balancing to ensure they are maintained appropriately.
Our hot tub operates like a standard hot tub, with a control panel designed to manage its functions. It is possible there may have been some confusion regarding how to operate the controls, as the hot tub is intended to function normally when used correctly.
We feel this review is undeserved, particularly regarding the accusation about bleach, and we believe it is important for future guests to have accurate information. We work hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone who stays at Opulence Retreat. Thank you for your understanding.
Perfect location for visiting different caves. Saw various wildlife around the cabin including a fawn. Cabin is well maintained and has everything you need.
Place was clean & fully stocked with everyone you need for a weekend stay and hot tub was great. Would stay here again- it was super close to many hikes in hocking hills.
My wife and I spent the night and really enjoyed the cabin. The hot tub was definitely our favorite part! The property was easy to find and very clean inside and out. Good location too. Close to some attractions and food. We will probably come back.

The hot tub was wonderful to use after a day of hiking.
We enjoyed cooking s’mores by the pond and the variety of birds that we were able to see from the kitchen window! The cabin was comfortable and convenient. We would stay here again!
