About this property

Tons of outdoor living with a new huge deck expansion, 1.5 acres of lush yard, and dock to spend time on the water. This property has outstanding privacy as you are surrounded by farms, yet only 5 minutes from Bigfork. The house is recently remodeled and in great shape. Staying on the Flathead River just upstream of Flathead Lake is the best of both worlds. The river stays calm when the lake is rough, and when the lake is calm, it is a short 10 minute ride from our house down the river to the lake. The stretch of river in front of the house is the best stretch to water ski, inner tube and fish. The Eagle's Perch is the most unique property on Flathead river in that it is set up on a rise above the river, so the views are amazing and the sunsets are beautiful. You'll see eagles soaring at eye level and perching in the trees surrounding the house. Any other house on the river is down on water level and your views are far more limited. The house is in a peaceful area surrounded by farms. Four bedroom (3K, 1Q + 2 bunk beds), 3 bath. Three kayaks, two paddle boards, beautiful large yard, professional grill (pellet & propane), ping pong table and lots of games for the family and kids will help keep everyone entertained. Best fishing on Flathead river is a 2 min paddle. Views are stunning. Great room is all windows; looking out over the river and lake to the west and south. Mission range and farmland is your view to the east. Home is in a peaceful country setting, surrounded by farms and horses, yet 5 mins to Bigfork by road and 15 minutes by boat. The flower beds will be in full bloom from April to September. There are three cherry trees on property, so if you are here at the right time, you'll get to harvest some cherries. You're also likely to be treated to sightings of eagles, swans, ducks and geese at certain times of year. The eagles nest all around this immediate area and make this their year round home. There is lots of parking, and even room to park an RV/camper with electric access. The boat dock is great for playing on the water and parking your watercraft. Bring your boat and/or jet skis and have the time of your life.

Wow - This Place is a Refuge

Can't stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay. This a truly a home away from home with all the amenities you would want. It is clear that this is someone's personal vacation home and not just a rental. Every kitchen tool or gadget you would want was available, so many puzzles, games, books, water toys and the scenery is to die for. Those of you familiar with this part of Montana may not be surprised but we absolutely loved it here. We spent 2 days in Glacier and our last day just enjoying the house. I highly recommend this property - one of our favorite vacation homes we have been in.

Flathead Lake River house

We were 2 generations of family returning to the area 21 years after our Polson visit. The house viewing Flathead River was beautiful. Windows and decks on 3 sides. Having morning coffee outside and cooling conversations in the evening made each day better than the day before. The kitchen had everything you needed and more. Loved the area better than Polson area. Restaurants and shopping were great. Would love to return to this house again and again.

Family vacation

We had a large group between the ages of 10-85. Everyone loved the house, location and the amenities! Wonderful deck with beautiful sunset views, deer, birds and the neighboring horses kept us entertained. The kayaks and paddle boards were put to good use as well as the ping pong table! The kitchen was well stocked and the guys enjoyed the smoker!

Incredible property!

This house was amazing! We have stayed in a lot of vacation properties and this one is top of the list. Very thoughtful finishes. Great location and top-notch communication with the owner/manager. We would stay here anytime.

Our philosophy of being a rental property manager is to offer a home we are proud to have people stay in. We supply our home with the amenities we would want in a vacation rental and charge a fair price.

Why they chose this property

The Eagle's Perch on Flathead is perched on a hill above and on Flathead River, just upstream of Flathead Lake. The home has tons of windows and amazing views. It is located amongst farms and ranches and yet is only 5 minutes from Bigfork and all the great restaurants and activities Bigfork has to offer. Once arriving at this house, you wont want to leave. It is so peaceful, relaxing and stunning views. Being on Flathead river offers tons of activities. We have a boat dock and boat lift if you want to bring or rent a boat and/or jet skis. Immediately adjacent to our property is Swim creek, which is a great place to kayak and swim. Fennon Slough is across the river and has some of the best fishing on all of Flathead.

What makes this property unique

The home has stunning views of the river delta and surrounding mountains. It is on the water and you can get to boat, jet ski, kayak, swim, fish and play on the water. Four bedrooms, three of which have king beds. How many rental properties have so many king sized beds? The home has recently been remodeled and there is a great feel to the home. We furnished this home how we wanted it as our vacation home and you get to take advantage of this.
