Sloan's Lake Park is it is only 4 blocks from this home! Sloan Lake Park covers 290 acres of water and green space. It is the second biggest park in Denver and the city's largest body of water. The park offers hiking, biking, birdwatching, fishing, boating and waterskiing, paddle-boarding, picnicking, public tennis and basketball courts, as well as, baseball, softball, and football fields. The main hiking trail is 2.6 miles long and typically takes 45 minutes to an hour walk around. Sloan's park features expansive views of both the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver! Visiting the lake is free as well as parking and most other amenities.
