Really nice, spacious basement apartment with great hosts.

The communication with Ruth was as good as could be expected from anyone. Clear and prompt instructions and always friendly. We miscommunicated a bit on my need for the extra bedroom and she promptly cleaned it and had it ready in no time at all. The apartment is large and quite nice. We really liked the location in a relatively small village with great scenery. We would certainly return.

A hidden gem in the Neckar Valley

We were visiting our grown daughter, who was working in Germany, and this property made a perfect setting for a long weekend in the Neckar Valley region. The place is perched on a hill with wonderful views, but still walkable to the restaurants in the quaint town of Neckarsteinach. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Heidelberg, where we spent a day - although there are local trains and buses that can take you there as well. Parking places are available below the property, and you walk up a series of steps to the apartment. Host Ruth was in touch well before we arrived and sent photos and information about the area. It’s clear she’s very proud of the town and surrounding area. Great communication and easy check in. The only tricky part was finding the place via Google Maps. Ask Ruth for directions. The property itself is clean, and they even had several bottles of local Schnapps to sample in the kitchen. Great touch. There is one full bathroom and one half bathroom. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the nearby hiking paths to four separate castles - one still occupied, the others in ruins that you can explore. We had fun climbing the towers of each and imagining life in ancient times. One trail connects the four castles, and there are no crowds. Truly a hidden gem. Would recommend the restaurant Zum Schiff in the town, too. All in all, a great alternative to staying in busy Heidelberg. Loved the peace and quiet of Neckarsteinach.

Wunderschöne, top eingerichtete und geräumige Wohnung mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge, Stadt und Burg und einem ganz schönem Garten. Nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Neckar, entlang vom Fluss. Es gibt einige steile Treppen bis zur Wohnung, deshalb ist die Wohnung für die Menschen mit Gehbehinderung nicht geeignet. Es gibt Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus. Frau Kern wohnt im Haus und ist sie sehr freundlich.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ruth war ganz wunderbar!! Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, wir haben fantastisch geschlafen und abends auch gerne einfach den Ausblick von der Terrasse genossen - rundum hatten wir einen sorglos glücklichen Aufenthalt. Dazu kommt noch der wunderschöne Ausblick am Tag aus der FeWo runter ins Tal von Neckarsteinach, der einfach atemberaubend schön ist wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder - und können jedem Reisenden Ruth & ihre FeWo nur wärmstens empfehlen

Ein schöner Urlaub am Neckar

Wir haben drei Nächte in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung Urlaub gemacht. Hier war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und bietet alles was man braucht .Auch die Terrasse ist sehr groß und mit allem ausgestattet, irgendwo ist hier immer Sonne, wenn sie denn scheint;). Das Haus liegt recht hoch, man muss über 30 Stufen hinauf steigen, um zur Wahrung zu gelangen. Das ist nix für Menschen mit Handicap. Für uns war es unsere tägliches Fitnessprogramm.Auch Wein, Wasser und Bier sind gegen einen fairen Preis vorhanden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, flexibel und auch gerne für einen netten Klönschnack zu haben. Es hat uns viel Spaß gemacht hier einen Teil unseres Urlaubs zu verbringen. Gerne kommen wir mal wieder.Parkplätze (öffentliche) sind hausnah vorhanden. Zum Bahnhof und zur Bushaltestelle kommt man gut zu Fuß, die Züge fahren sichtbar und hörbar vorbei, haben uns aber nicht gestört.Der nahe Neckar bietet viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und nette Lokale zum einkehren.

Ein schöner Urlaub in einer schönen Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut eingerichtet. Sie ist großzügig bemessen. Im 0rt ist die Gastronomie verbesserungswürdig. So wurden wir in einigen Fällen darauf hingewiesen, dass nur im Garten serviert wird, obwohl im Lokal genügend Platz für uns gewesen wäre. Dafür war der ital. Pizzabäcker um die Ecke wesentlich freundlicher Die Frage nach der Tischreservierung war obligatorisch, auch mittags.

Herrlich gelegene Fewo

Unser Aufenthalt mit 3 Pärchen war sehr angenehm. Alle Schlafzimmer sind mit Doppelbetten großzügig eingerichtet. Die Aussicht aus den Zimmern und von der Terrasse ist wunderbar. Da kann man das fehlende Tageslicht in der Küche verschmerzen.

Frau Fernandes, Sie und Ihre Freunde haben in meinem Hause geraucht. Es ist absolutes Rauchverbot in meiner Ferienwohnung das steht auch im Internet! Sie können auf der überdachten 100 m² grossen Terrasse rauchen. Wenn Sie sich nicht an meine Hausregeln halten müssen Sie und ihre Freunde meine Ferienwohnung sofort wieder verlassen. Dies habe ich Ihnen geschrieben und auch am Telefon gesagt. Rauchen in einer Wohnung die auch an andere Gäste vermietet wird ist ein "no go". Sie haben die Hausregeln verletzt und ich habe reagiert.
