Gästehaus am Wald in Heidelberg-Schlierbach, quiet retreat on the edge of the forest

Your peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Our cosy GÄSTEHAUS AM WALD awaits you in Heidelberg’s most beautiful location. Built in the 1930s, the house was expanded in 2003 and recently renovated and modernised in 2025. It offers:
3 bedrooms
a bright living room with an adjoining open kitchen
a large wooden deck, a spacious bathroom with heated floors, a toilet, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub
a separate bathroom
a storage room
a total of approximately 80 square metres of living space, one parking space next to the house, and additional spaces on the street.
The entire house has central heating, with additional underfloor heating in the lower bedrooms and the bathroom. The living area also features a wood-burning stove.
The location right on the edge of the forest, with downdrafts, ensures a pleasant, comfortable climate, especially in the summer. It’s the perfect place to unwind and serves as an ideal starting point for long walks in the woods.
The famous Heidelberg Castle is about a 20-minute walk away, and Heidelberg’s Old Town is 6 km away.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung – rundum empfehlenswert!Wir haben uns als Familie mit drei Kindern sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt brauchten. Alles war wie beschrieben und der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Auch die Lage ist sehr schön und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen.Wir waren rundum zufrieden und vergeben gerne 5 Sterne. Es ist wirklich sehr ruhig und - obwohl über 37 Grad waren- konnten wir mit wunderbarem Blick ins Grüne auf der tollen Terrasse sitzen, da immer ein angenehmer Wind wehte. Schlafen ging zu Dritt sehr gut. Ausstattung ist top, sogar mit Nespresso- Maschine. Die Lage ist für Menschen, die direkt von der Unterkunft aus Wandern gehen wollen oder zum Schloss, super. Der Vermieter gibt tolle Tipps ! Sehr zu empfehlen!
