Great little place

Loved the ambiance and location of the Speakeasy. 2 blocks from Whiskey Row. The inside of the Speakeasy is great and really has that old time charm. Would definitely stay again!

The location was fabulous!. Was so easy to walk downtown for dining and shopping. The apartment was decorated in a vintage style and was so fun and private. We would highly recommend this place for a getaway. The host was so helpful and made the check in and check out process so easy. Would definitely reserve a place here for a future getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in this unique room / house. Melanie provided clear instructions way in advance for accessing the property and room. No issues with anything, everything was perfect. It did get a bit noisy from the people above our room but that is mentioned in the room description. We appreciated the filtered water jug in the fridge and the hangers in the closet. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Well kept and great host communication. Only thing I would suggest is covers on the stove knobs because they turn very easily.

Historic home

We enjoyed our stay even though the weather was not ideal. The house had such a nostalgic feel that we thoroughly appreciated. The great thing was how easy it was to walk to downtown.

Speakeasy is a must!

The Speakeasy room is great just like you would expect in that time era. All the furnishings were great, I didn't need a thing. As they say location, Location, Location and the Mansion has IT! The entire property is 5 star as well as the host. I will definitely stay again

A really cool piece of history

The Speak Easy of the Mansion, under the house basically a basement apartment. Very private, stays cool down there. Has everything to have food in: a fridge a place to cook with cooking and eating utensils. Great wifi BIG bed dining table. Wifi is quick...a place out of history. The owners did a great job on it. Great and quiet , comfortable stay.

The speakeasy room is amazing. It has a little bit of a spooky vibe which we were totally into. Aside from the bed being a little bit lumpy the room was immaculate everything looks amazing everything smelled amazing it was super clean we had literally zero expectations and left here loving the place. Its a great place to spend a weekend. close enough to the square that you can walk down there if you need to. Overall we would definitely stay here again and we think everybody should come stay here! we signed the guest book.we will be back.
