We are confident that you will enjoy the playfulness and thoughtful touches within the cabin.

About the host

The Verde Valley Hideaway was established February 2021. My name is Lisa and I am the proprietor. I am an Arizona native, born and raised in Phoenix. I have always had a passion for travel, destination, and adventure! I was lucky enough to major in fun and travel at Arizona State... ok, technically it was “Recreation and Tourism Management” ;). Now I hope to put my expertise to use to make this an enjoyable stay for you at the Verde Valley Hideaway!

After graduating University I ventured out west to the City of Angels but my love for the Arizona desert always ran deep. I currently live in California with my dog Elvis and work in the film industry. We work hard and play hard but love coming to Cornville for rest and relaxation, and we hope you’ll enjoy our getaway too!

Why they chose this property

The original house was part of the Santa Fe Railroad Station in Flagstaff, which was built in 1926. The building was brought to this acre lot in Cornville sometime around 1994. We are located in the heart of Arizona wine country with beautiful spacious views of Sedona and Mingus Mountain. I couldn’t resist wanting to turn the property into something special that many people can enjoy, including myself!

What makes this property unique

My goal is to make the Hideaway a place where we all can hideout and escape. Where we can hike, enjoy nature, enjoy the river, take a train, drink some wine, eat good food, and enjoy this magical place known as the Verde Valley.
