Beautiful Family Cottage in Beachwalk-Grill-AC-Free Wifi-Kids Haven.

Mythology and the perfect beach holiday meet in this charming 2-story guest house that feels as though it were straight out of a fairy tale. The Troll's Den sleeps 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, full kitchen, and laundry facilities. This house is perfect for families or small gatherings, with queen beds in two bedrooms and bunk beds in the other. The Trolls welcome your visit and, if you're quick, you may catch a glimpse of one inside the Troll Hole.

Loaded with games, toys, books, music, four TVs with and high-speed wifi this house is perfectly located across the street from the waterfall pond and a half-block walk from the pool, Lake Kai, and the new playground. A leisurely 5-minute walk to Lake Michigan on the pristine Indiana Dunes (national lakeshore) which is a top-rated beach where you can see the Chicago skyline on a clear day.

The Troll's Den is located in the Beachwalk, an award-winning resort community in Michigan City, Indiana, where there is activities aplenty right outside your doorstep.

All cleaning fees are baked into the nightly rate. Golf cart rentals are prohibited at Trolls Den.

From the Friday before Memorial Day through mid-August there is a 4-night minimum and all guests must purchase resort passes, which cost $15 per person. There is a $5 parking cost per car.

Cleanliness has always been a top priority for our company. If you've stayed with us before, you may have seen this during your visits. Our cleaning and infection control processes were put in place so that when you visit our homes at the Beachwalk, they are both safe and comfortable.

We will continue remote check-in/check-out procedures, but as always will be available to take your calls, answer any questions, and provide the overall great service you have come to expect. Early check-ins or late check-outs will be allowed when possible and will be charged at the hourly average of the nightly rate.

My family and I had a great stay at the Troll House while we were in town for a family wedding. The rooms were cozy, but had exactly what we needed, and my kids loved checking out the troll hole under the stairs. The bikes came in handy when we needed to ride over for some of the wedding activities at different beach stops, so that was fantastic! We also had a great time checking out some of the amenities at the Beachwalk, like kayaking, shuffleboard, and the pool. We had a wonderful time here, thanks for your hospitality!

A hidden GEM! So glad that we stayed at the Troll Den. This cozy and relaxing home is located in a quaint beach house community. Although it was the "off" season, we still had a blast! We loved taking night walks in this Winter Wonderland neighborhood. We felt very safe at all times and we also had 3 children under 7yrs with us. The kids loved playing at the Troll Den and found many fun things to do. The hand painted murals make the house so fun. Hands down, the most family friendly home we have ever stayed in. Anders is a wonderful host and has equipt the home with everything you need. We would love to go back and stay here again in the summer and enjoy all the lovely opportunities of that season as well. Thank you, Anders for a lovely stay!

Its such a cute community my 3 and 5 year old just loved riding their scooters around the neighborhood! Super quiet and has a cute playground! It was chilly when we came so we didnt do pool or splash pads but went to Washington Park and the zoo there and loved it ! Anders was the nicest host and lived next door if we needed anything! We will definitely be back !
