Bamboo cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The setting was quiet but near some nice music and restaurans. Dearborn St is nearby and full of shops and eateries. The host has spent a lot of time creating a safe and fun place to stay.

comfortable and well decorated home on a quiet street with large yard and plenty of privacy. air conditioning, laundry units, and showers all working perfectly made the trip seem just like being at home.

Such a sweet space! My husband and I spent three nights here and we were more than comfortable. The Bamboo Cottage had everything we needed and then some. Comfy king bed - we slept soundly! Classy, beachy decor. Very clean. Location was perfect — super easy to get to the beaches and the downtown was within walking distance for us. We have friends who live in Englewood and we’d definitely choose to stay at this property again.

Great stay overall. The house is in excellent condition, very clean, nicely decorated, and thoughtfully set up for guest comfort. We really enjoyed the backyard BBQ and patio for outdoor dining. There is some morning road noise due to the location, but it’s a minor issue. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect experience. Check in & check out as simple as simple can be. The property was well maintained. Extremely clean. You can definitely tell as soon as you step foot inside, the owners are committed to excellence. Great location, depending on your needs of course. Worked out great for us as we were touring houses in Englewood, Venice, Port Charolette and Rotondo West. Perfectly centralzed. Easy drive to beach. Here is the best part, I rarely can sleep in a strange bed. Plus, due to pelvic tendonitis I've been unable to sleep well. Best sleep I've had in literally 8 months. The matress is amazing. Would love a private message from owners to get more info on that matress.

Bamboo cottage delight

It was very relaxing, the decor was very nice. It was centrally located to Venice, Beach, Englewood, Beach, and our friends. We definitely will be returning to this quaint cottage. it had everything we needed for our stay

The house is super clean , kitchen is complete-even includes sharp knives! Location is perfect, walkable to restaurants, Lemon Bay, and Lemon Bay Park. The Stump Pass beach is only 12 minutes drive! The bed is super comfortable. It’s really one of the best rental we’ve had since we started renting 15 years ago. Whitney, the host is very responsive. Everything is as described and pictured.

Lovely little home

This little home was perfect. Check-in was easy. The kitchen was equipped with everything that I needed. The bed was comfy, the neighborhood was very quiet and I felt safe. There were little bistros, a coffee shop and a grocery store about 2 minutes away. Englewood beach was about 10 minutes away and easy to find. I’ll definitely be back.

Winter getaway

Property was great. Enjoyed attending Farmers market on Thursdays. Several festivals in Englewood, enjoyed very much. Beaches were beautiful. Spouse says Golf was great! Really just liked sitting outside in the evening “watching the world go buy”.

Will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Very few rentals meet my standards of clean. The Bamboo Cottage exceeded my expectations.So Convenient. Well equipped. Nice beds(very important to me so as no back ache in the a m )The linens and towels were super nice as were the appliances. I enjoyed the private backyard for my morning coffee in my robe. lolI have family in the area and this will be “our place” while visiting them.

Nice but be aware

This property was very nice. Clean, well stocked with all essential items, wifi worked great, and host was responsive to message and provided us a late checkout which was nice. However, we had 2 small children with us that drink juice...their cups leaked on 2 of the white comforters (it was watered down cranberry juice), and there were sprinkles from our ice cream on the placemats, and the host charged an additional, excessive amount because of it. I have no problem paying for damages but I wash our personal white comforters weekly and the juice comes right out... the amount they charged us is taking advantage and excessive. We will not be returning.

We take great care and pride in our property, and we go above and beyond to make our guests’ stay great, from the décor, cleanliness, and comfort of the home, to providing an early check in and late check out if available, all of which we did for your stay. Thank you for acknowledging the clean home, responsiveness, kindness, amenities, and early check in/late checkout. Unfortunately, we did have to process the damages accordingly. Besides the large red stains on the comforter, there was also red stains on a throw blanket, a large red stain on the area rug, and extreme damage of melted ice cream and sprinkles embedded into vintage placemats. All those items had to be either replaced or cleaned accordingly. Our cleaning company also had to charge us an extra ‘excessive damage’ cleaning fee. And, due to letting you have a last-minute late checkout, yet our cleaner had to be at the property for at least double the allotted time and effort due to the excessive cleaning, we had to block that night from allowing another guest to stay. There were also additional guests staying at the property that were not allotted for or disclosed in your booking. We do provide a fully functioning washer and dryer and detergent for any excessive accidents or stains that may happen during a guest’s stay, as well as a vacuum, broom, and mop for any accidental and excessive messes. All of the above damages and extra costs were approved by the booking platform for these reasons. Thank you so much for your time and review, -The Bamboo Cottage

This place is so well equipped!!! AND CLEAN!And everything works. I’ve stayed at places that the showers didn’t drain etc. not this place smooth sailing always. The beds are very comfy. I love the kitchen since I cook most of my meals. Publix supermarket is so convenient!The outside amenities are really nice!This was our second time staying and I’m sure we will return!!Thank you to our host for helping us extend our stay for 2 more days. Lucky us!

Serene house with beaches within a few minutes drive and restaurants within walking distance. Perfect sunsets from nearby parks. Excellent commmunication with host. The kitchen is VERY WELL SUPPLIED with sharp knives and everything you need to cook at home. Super clean!!
