Spacious home with stunning views of the Keweenaw Waterway! Located at the end of a quiet road yet close to so many major attractions! Michigan Technological University, Historic downtown Houghton & Hancock, Ripley Ski Hill, Michigan Tech ski and hiking trails, Quincy Mine, Snowmobile Trails, different beaches and much more! Copper Harbor and Mount Bohemia are only 45 minutes from us! Brew a cup of coffee or tea and hangout on the beautiful deck overlooking the bridge with unobstructed views through the glass railing. 😊 Relax and unwind by being screen-free here. All bedding, including comforters, are washed between stays.

The house is in a charming and beautiful location up on the hill in Hancock, MI with a fantastic view across the canal. Very clean facilities had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Beautiful rental. Great kitchen. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, bring some larger pans. Otherwise the kitchen has a good amount of common items. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. So much space! Very friendly and responsive host.

Highlight of this house is for sure the view, it is spectacular. House was comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely decorated. For clarity, the four bedrooms are all on the main floor, the 4th room is a little small/cozy and has a trundle bed. It worked perfect for us (no issues) but I wasn’t totally expecting that. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to stay again

Great stay

Wonderful comfy place. We enjoyed the views overlooking the causeway and bridge. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with friends or family. Lots of space and the kitchen has plenty of room.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful location!

Had the pleasure of saying several days/nights and found it was difficult to motivate my wife and kids to leave the deck and incredibly view! Spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful house in perfect location!

This home is lovely and in the perfect spot for a visit to MTU or a Keewenaw adventure! Our family group of 7 enjoyed everything about this home... the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had, the view is spectacular, the home is well appointed and very comfortable! Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely book again!

Great view, nice place

Super nice place with plenty of room for a group of 8. The view is outstanding. Could have used a few more utensils ( more forks and a snow shovel). There is no TV so Thanksgiving football was difficult.

Beautiful View!

I stayed at Canal view at the end of July and I couldn't have been happier. As soon as you enter the house and see that view - wow! I thought the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. The location was perfect for my daily trips up into the peninsula and there was a grocery store very close by. I liked this property so much that I'm going to book again for next spring!

Great House

We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!

Amazing view with all the comforts of home

Had a great stay! The house has an incredible view of downtown Houghton and the deck is a perfect way to enjoy it. The kitchen is well-equipped so we were able to cook a big dinner for our boys during our visit with no issue. We didn’t utilize all the rooms but the two main bedrooms had super comfortable beds! Has a nice dining room table that sat 8 comfortably. Place was clean and decor was nice. Location in Hancock was great for visiting our MTU students. Communication with the host and property manager was great and had no issues with anything during our visit. Would definitely book again!!

Great spot with an even better view

Overall thought the place was very nice for my family. We loved venturing out from the house and driving all over the Keweenaw. Wished there had been maybe a few more dishes (couldn’t find a spatula). And if there had been a bleach spray available I would have sprayed the shower door corners. I put a lot of thought into where we stay. I read many reviews first before choosing a location. We did lose power for a short time during a thunderstorm but it was restored quickly. Overall I gave this house 5 stars. I’m super picky about cleanliness and availability/access. Overall great house with a really beautiful view of the Houghton/Hancock area.
