Our stay was great! The cabins were neatly decorated & very clean. It was fun to see all the detail the owners put into so many things around the property. The host was amazing and very easy to access with questions. There was plenty of seating around the property to enjoy the outdoors while the kids played volleyball and tether ball. It was nice to be at a place so close to the Wichita Mountain area. Would most definitely stay here again!

This room is adorable! The whole place is so unique. I would definitely stay here again. It’s very close to the wildlife refuge. The host is always available for questions and was very welcoming. The room was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Great Place!

This little cabin was so clean, so well put together and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay. Such a neat property! I appreciated the fact it was "out of town". We really were happy to find this place, really didn't want to stay in a hotel! Thank you for a great stay!

Convenient location near Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge

The Lazy Buffalo cabins are a convenient location near Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. We stayed in the cycling-themed room (I’ve stayed there twice, actually) and it is such a fun and creative theme. The room was clean and Julie was easy to get ahold of and helpful. I’ve enjoyed my stay both times!

Wichita Mountain Spring Break Trip

Perfect location to access Wichita Mountains! Cabins are about the size of a hotel room which was great! Beds were comfy, bathroom was nice, and owner was accommodating. Wish the room had better air fresheners and thicker toilet paper but otherwise no complaints. 5/5 would stay again!

Hike extravaganza

Came down for a quick overnight to hike medicine park. Our place was perfect location and also unbelievably great. Very unique, clean and a lot of lil extras that go a long way. Also super cute decor. Highly recommended.

This buffalo is peaceful but not lazy

I love this place! I would love come back and rent out the whole motel. Everywhere you look for special touches that made you feel like they were so glad you were there. They really outdid themselves with what was provided, the decorations, cleanliness, and price. I just couldn’t be happier with the place will definitely be back.

The host was great, let us check in a few hours early. We didn’t spend a lot of time there so I don’t feel like I can leave a review that talks about all the amenities. It’s right across from the casino. But, we didn’t hear traffic or anything. It was quiet for the most part. There was some rumbling noises a few times in the night that woke us up, not sure what it was! The room was clean, beds comfortable. We would stay again!

Short little getaway

This little place was perfect. Very comfortable and every little thing we needed was there. We take a fan everywhere we go. We walked the room and there was one just like ours! I appreciated that all my questions were answered promptly and everything was as described. Thank you again 😊

Fun in the Wichitas!

This was our second stay at The Lazy Buffalo. The themed rooms are clean and inviting. The Tour de Bison cabin has a slight odor- probably the bicycle tires! Very fun room. There is a small refrigerator, with cold water. A coffee maker and pods. Snacks, disposable plates and utensils. The beds are quite comfortable.
