Hakuna Matata Beach House has 5 large bedrooms in the popular Sea Isle Community and is a short walk to the beach and boasts 9 beds plus a futon to sleep 14+ with plenty of additional floor space! A recently remodeled kitchen and 2 large common areas, this house is PERFECT for large groups! Enjoy the hot tub out back as well as the large 6-seater golf cart! Down the street you’ll find amazing restaurants/bars (the closest just 3 houses away) as well as a general store for all your shopping/dining needs. Live music most weekends at the large restaurant/bar!!! The bait shop and fishing pier are perfect for those who like to fish and the communal pool, kiddie pool, tennis courts, and large playground are perfect for the kids and families! Come make some memories and relax at Hakuna Matata!!!!

Fantastic House! Definitely Recommend!

Loved this house! My kids enjoyed exploring the area and it was super close to the beach. The public areas and bedrooms were very clean, and the house had everything our group needed to make us all comfortable. We love staying at a big house and save money so we can enjoy all the things to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed getting around the neighborhood in the golf cart, that’s just great memories for us! We did forget to pack a few things so it was very nice having that convenience store right there in the neighborhood. One of our friends caught some impressive fish down by the boat docks at night! The seafood in the big restaurant there was amazing, and we enjoyed the live music. We come to Galveston a lot and we now know where we will be staying with our group next year! Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing beach house!

There really aren't enough great things to say about this beach house. The private beaches on this part of the island are SO MUCH better than the crowded overpacked beaches near downtown Galveston which we have experienced previously. The proximity to the beach and the 5 bedrooms with multiple beds for our large group were the main reasons we booked this property and it certainly did not disappoint. Plenty of space for all of us and it was nice being able to send the kids downstairs to watch TV at night while the adults relaxed upstairs. The deck is a bit older and could use some work but we didn't spend too much time outside by the cabana. My wife felt the water pressure for the upstairs shower could have been stronger but I didn't notice it. The kids loved the community pool and the adults loved the hot tub a couple nights. Wish we had rented the golf cart for the additional fee because we saw everyone down here driving them around and it looked awesome and convenient. This particular neighborhood was fantastic with restaurants and bars and the live music at the one Palapa restaurant right there was the best part. We didn't use the playground or tennis courts but those looked nice. Couldn't have asked for a quieter, relaxing, awesome place to stay. Made some great memories this week!

Why they chose this property

It's far enough south of the crazy downtown Galveston area that you avoid the crazy crowds and have private beach access all to yourself! Plus restaurants and bars right there in the neighborhood to enjoy along with an awesome community pool, fishing pier, and tennis courts/playground! Riding the golf cart around to all of these amenities is the best part along with hauling all of you stuff and kids to and from the beach each day!
