We hiked in the mountains around Telluride and Rico, Colorado. The Aspen were stunningly beautiful. The house is located convenient to the Mesa Verde historic site also
This was the perfect house for our family! Clean, comfortable and convenient location for what we wanted. Good close by and Mesa Verde wasn’t far either. Host was great with communication!
We were looking for a home near Mesa Verde NP for the annular solar eclipse. The house was perfectly located for the NP. The location was good to visit Duango and drive the San Juan Skyway.
The house met our expectations. The house was advertised. The neighborhood was quiet which made for a restful stay.
If we ever were in the area I would definitely stay there again.
This house in downtown Delores was perfect for our wedding visit to the mountains nearby. Nice little coffee shop near by, excellent Mexican restaurant, and a wonderful Cider place where the wedding reception was held. Fishing all around... Good base to visit Durango, Telluride, and other mountain destinations. Would return - safe, clean, spacious.
Really beautiful decorated home. I traveled with my family of 8 we were in the area for a wedding. Enjoyed the extra amenities like cold water bottles in the fridge and the basic cooking supplies. Didn't like that the thermostat was set by the owner and not able to be changed it was way stuffy in the house and leaving a window open wasn't an option since their isn't screens on all the windows. The neighborhood seemed quaint at first then the weirdos came out. We had a lady chanting at the top of her lungs one night and a man with a loud speaker creepy laughing and driving around the neighborhood another night. Definitely slept with chairs behind the doors. Mostly harsh lighting in the bedrooms so going to bed at different times couldn't happen. The doors all scraped the floor so their is no sneaking into the bathroom late night without the house knowing.
We enjoyed our stay. We visited the National Parks in the area and enjoyed a beautiful drive to Telluride. If staying in summer, I would recommend bringing fans to help draw in the cool air at night and keep the back door curtains closed as there is not AC. House was clean and beds were comfortable. We will stay again if in the area!
The property had everything you need for a home. We enjoyed the stay and enjoyed our fishing trip.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home away from home property and look forward to coming back soon! Mountain views are spectacular and the photos are exactly as described and portrayed. Everything is quiet, you have a lot of space to yourself, and the neighbors are so friendly and courteous just as the owners. There’s a nice park approximately one block away with nearby restaurants and food market. You can expect lightning fast communication which will make your stay worry-free, comforting and really get to enjoy your time and vacation with your loved ones. They are just AMAZING! The warm and cozy home conveniently has everything you need to cook your own meals and my boys loved the board games provided. Very happy here!
Thank you Randia for such a warm and memorable experience at your property!

Why they chose this property
Built by my grandparents, this house has been in my family since the 1960s. With the desire to keep this heirloom, a vacation rental was the only way to monetarily make it work. My goal was to maintain the original features during the remodeling process, and with the help of family, we were able to personally execute this renovation. Most everything was built or hand-made by us; from the countertops in kitchen and bathroom, shuttered dining room mirror, and windows, to the reupholstered and custom-painted furniture, handmade signs, curtains, and decorative pillows. While exhausting, it was a fun endeavor. I hope you enjoy all the custom features and decorations this house has to offer.
