Apartment in the newly built straw bale house Valle delle Rose -

Our newly built straw bale house was completed in January 2018 and is off in the nature and is a wonderful quiet place, with a view of the beautiful landscape.
It is an ecologically built house made of natural materials. The mud walls provide a good, healthy and cool summer climate, whereas in autumn and winter it is warm and cozy. The apartment has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a kitchen with a sofa bed. Overall, it is 72 m2 in size. For the children there is a small library of books for the youngest to juvenile literature available. In addition, game collections and chess boards. In the house is also the pottery and painting workshop which can be used by the guests. Upon request, various offers can be taken with us. Massimo (writer, actor and beekeeper) offers literary talks, readings and conversation in Italian. In a cozy and personal atmosphere, you can deepen your Italian language skills or just practice.
Kirsten (gardener and art teacher) is happy to accompany you in the pottery and painting workshop during creative work. In the garden and the surrounding nature everyone will find a place to undisturbed painting. There are a variety of interesting painting objects. As an experienced elementary school teacher is taken care of a professional child care and allows you as parents time out. The children can work on the potter's wheel, model with clay, paint or play, build and research in nature. Our land is organically grown and our guests can enjoy vegetables, herbs and home-made bread from us. Also with the neighbors (Demeter yards) products can be bought. If you would like to spend a holiday with a friendly family, you will find accommodation on the neighboring farm, which can be reached on foot via a pleasant walk in about 15 minutes.
In the area you will find a lot of culture and cozy little restaurants with traditional cuisine. The surrounding area invites to bicycle tours by road or mountain bike, to walks but also to hiking trips in the nearby mountains Monte Catria and Monte Petrano. Also worth seeing is the Grotte di Frasassi about an hour's drive away.
Within easy reach are beautiful cities such as Urbino and Fano, as well as smaller cozy towns like Corinaldo, Mondavio or Fratte Rosa all worth a visit.
Also beautiful beaches in Fano or Senigallia invite to excursions to the sea.
