Welcome to The Sassy Starfish! Our 7 bedroom, 5.5 bath oceanside home in Ocean Sands in the beautiful Outer Banks of Corolla, NC is sure to be a family favorite! Enjoy vacation life outside with the private pool and NEW hot tub (August 2022), multi-level deck, hammock swing, and more! Access to the beach is close by via multiple paths or the street. And don't leave your dogs at home - we are dog-friendly up to 2 dogs!

Pack your bags and relax! We've got you covered with linens provided & beds made, along with provided towels and washcloths. We also provide dispensers in every bathroom with body wash, shampoo, and hand soap! Other provided items include dish soap, dishwasher tablets, and laundry detergent. Also, we provide 1 bag of ground coffee to get you going!

The Sassy Starfish is in Section N of the Ocean Sands community of Corolla. This community is conveniently located near both the Harris Teeter grocery and shopping plaza, and the Food Lion grocery and plaza with restaurants, shops, wild horse tours, and more.

On the lower level, you can enjoy a competitive game of pool on the new pool table (September 2022) while watching the flat-screen and sipping on a refreshing beverage from the wet bar and extra refrigerator. This level includes a bedroom with two bunk beds and a Queen bedroom which shares a full hall bathroom with a tub/shower. Also on this level is a closet with a full-size washer and dryer.

On the mid-level, there are two Queen En suite bedrooms, both having sliding glass doors to access the deck. A King bedroom and a twin bedroom share a full hall bath with tub/shower and both also have deck access and access to the double hammock swing. This level leading up to the top level has a half bath at the landing.

The top-level includes a King En suite bedroom and great room with flat-screen TV and fireplace. Also on this level is a well-equipped kitchen with all new appliances for the 2022 season. There is plenty of seating for everyone including a dining area with seating for ten and counter seating at the kitchen with four bar stools. End the day by stepping out onto the deck to access the crow's nest for a sunset at this wonderful oceanside retreat.

** The Sassy Starfish is dog-friendly, so bring your well-behaved dog with you! For a one-time fee of $95, you can bring up to TWO dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

** Pool opens on April 1st and closes on November 1st. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. This pool has a propane heater that will heat the pool regardless of the air temperature. The pool heater will be set at 86 degrees. A pool heat fee of $85/night is added to your reservation at the time of the request (yes, propane is expensive). Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of check in so we can have the pool heat on for you!
