Older ladies' weekend retreat

Great Place

We loved the townhouse and the location. We will be booking this place from now on when we come home to visit. Everything was clean and comfortable, especially the couch and beds. We also loved that it has a bidet in the downstairs bathroom. Much better than a hotel.

Lovely Townhome

The host was wonderful and checked on us during our stay! The home was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Everything looked and felt clean. The location is great and we enjoyed an evening stroll in the neighborhood. It was close to many restaurants. We were glad to have found a great location all around. We would absolutely stay in the same home again.

Great location in Birmingham

We only stayed one night on our way to NC. It's a clean townhouse with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is on a quiet street with no noise and we walked to local businesses/restaurants easily. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great place!

My family and I spent one night here due to needing close proximity to UAB hospital. This place is IMMACULATELY clean, comfy beds and couches, fast internet, quiet location, easy to get in and out of, and easy for Door Dash to deliver to. It’s convenient to have a powder room downstairs and each bedroom has its own bathroom upstairs. I anticipate more stays in Birmingham and hope this place is available when we come! Thanks for the great stay!

Great vrbo

My daughter and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. The property was perfect for us but could easily accommodate four people comfortably. Property was very well appointed, with king size comfortable beds and large flat screen TVs in LR and each BR, and immaculately clean. Location is great and hosts are responsive. Can’t say enough good things. A+++ for everything about this rental. Thank you for Schaefer great weekend stay!

My husband and I stayed overnight to attend an early morning appointment the next day. Great host, neat, clean townhouse, and great nearby restaurants for this location. My husband and I would definitely return to this place again.

Ashwood Cozy Townhouse!

Great property! Really comfortable and the location was very close to restaurants and shopping. The Keurig was not working which was disappointing for 4 mornings. Hostess did ask if we wanted it replaced after the second morning. It should have been replaced. BYOB toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bag. Only 1 left in each bathroom and kitchen.

We stayed for almost a week as we moved our daughter to college there. Pros: VERY clean, convenient, quiet, comfortable, and responsive hostess; can walk to Vulcan Park Cons: No cable TV (only temperamental streaming)— would love to stay there again when visiting this fall but husband is concerned about not catching football games 😉. Any suggestions?? Also, I’d bring extra blankets as AC is set cold at night and no extra blankets in house.

Great condo and location

Condo had everything. Very clean and organized. Plenty of closet space. Didn’t even notice the neighbors. This is a full condo, 2 beds and laundry up, kitchen, dining, living down. Was in town for a week for training in Irondale. Quick 15 min drive over. Wife stayed in condo and worked from there. Super comfy bed. Hostess was very good! Quick to respond to questions and address any needs (the iron needed to be replaced during our stay and they swapped it out that same morning!) Very reasonable cleaning and other fees. Good restaurants/shops nearby in Homewood and in town of Mountain Brook. Would stay again
