Listen, what do you hear? Only the sounds of nature located on 27 acres of serene woods and tucked in a hollow, Lane’s End is the ultimate in privacy for the perfect woodland retreat. This vacation home accommodates up to 10 guests comfortably with a floor plan that provides privacy and areas for adults and children. Very family friendly with a large kitchen and dining area adjacent to the family room with satellite TV. Adults can escape to another private living room also with satellite TV. Down the hall is a large bathroom with shower and tub. Also down this hall are 3 very roomy bedrooms. One has a queen bed, another with a queen and a twin and the third is a bunk room with 2 twins and 2 full beds. You’ll find a laundry room just off the bedroom area. Outside you will find a wraparound deck. The backyard also affords lots of privacy where you can picnic beside a babbling creek on the deck or build a campfire and stargaze. Explore the 27 acres of woods and you’ll discover towering rock formations on the property.
All of this is located just minutes from the area’s main attractions of Conkle’s Hollow and Old Man’s Cave. You’ll want to make Lane’s End your vacation destination year after year.

Overall, a nice spot for a weekend getaway. Good size for a family of four and 4 guests. One more shower in basement bathroom would be awesome for larger groups. We enjoyed our time at Lane's End.

Amazing Getaway

The property was very clean and welcoming. It was amazing to not have any internet access for the children we had an amazing time. Hot tub wasn’t the cleanest but that was expected for where it was located. And it was very quiet and the neighbors we did have we could only hear if we were outside.

Weekend getaway

House needs some updates. Couch was broken down could not even sit on it. Beds were hard! No dish washer so you have to hand wash dishes with no drain plug! No simple supplies left for guests like hand soap in bathroom. Only left us one extra garbage bag. Its the little things that count, please consider this stuff for your future guests

The property was dirty. Looks like it hasn’t been kept up. There was no phone service in the cabin. If you needed to call for help, there was no Wi-Fi and a lot of things in the cabinet and work. They were old very old.

Lands End

The property was as stated on the website. It was perfect for our girls trip. The problem was that the management company did not send the information needed to check in until the second day we were there. My confirmation had the address of the property so we were able to go there without the key to get in. Luckily, the house was unlocked because we had no way to contact anyone. My emails went unanswered and phone calls also went unanswered because there were no regular office hours at the time I called and no way to leave a message. We did however pick up the key the next day when I had cell phone service again and could check my email.

Everything was nice except having to battle knats./fruit flies from the moment we entered until leaving. We couldn’t enjoy a meal, drink, even use restroom in peace. If not for pests it would’ve been perfect.
