Lower Level: Second Queen bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry room.
Loft: Sleeping space for 6 (1 Full, 2 Twins) plus a fold-down Queen-size EZ Lounger. A third full bathroom is also upstairs.
All linens and towels are provided for your stay.

Wonderful, Relaxing Stay with Everything We Needed

This house is true to the photos and descriptions provided on the listing. We visited for a weeklong family vacation and really enjoyed both the area and coming home to this adorable cabin. Even with neighbors close by, you can't see or hear them, providing great privacy. The house had all of the essentials and then some. Would definitely recommend!

Great Getaway!

Family vacation to visit Hocking Hills. Great location, not far from trails and rustic location. Three floors, all with bathrooms, gave each family a bit of privacy. Hot tub and fire pit for after hiking relaxation. We had a great time!

Perfect!

Wonderful cabin, very clean, with all necessities provided for a comfortable stay. We had traveled from Florida to a very rainy weekend for our daughter’s wedding in Rockbridge. Perfect location and close to stores. We had some trouble with the door keypad but Sam with maintenance was very helpful. This cabin provided all the peace and relaxation we needed! Thank you!

Great property

Cabin was great, they have all the essentials so it makes traveling and cooking easy. Only complaint was others left dog poop in the yard, that made cleaning up after our dogs hard. Dodging dog poop to try and clean up after yourself was annoying. But that’s a small issue, everything else was great and would definitely book here again.

Hocking family retreat

This listing had everything you could want. Clean well kept property and close to all the activities in hocking hills state park. Everything was within 10 -15 minutes from this site. Went tubing that was a little bit further but definitely worth the trip. Are group was comprised of 3 generations. So age group was 69 to 15 months and tw0 dogs.

Perfect place for us!

If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is it! We had a girl’s trip celebrating 55 years of friendship and could not have been happier with the accommodations. Our host answered questions in a very timely manner. The Liberty Ridge Cabin is situated in a beautiful, private setting yet it’s a short drive to the walking trails and Hocking Hills Lodge. The cabin was very clean and had an up-to-date, well-equipped kitchen. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We appreciated the three levels of sleeping areas which met everyone’s needs. Next time we visit Hocking Hills, we know where to stay!

Beautiful property with all amenities . Lots of room to spread out with 3 families. Enjoyed walks and hikes. Ash cave was amazing even without water flow. 3 bathrooms were handy and the hot tub was great! We had a fire 2 nights and we appreciated the seating. Hot dogs, mountain pies and s’mores were eaten by the fire . Close to all actives in hocking hills. Quiet neighborhood during the week. Stunning log cabin, tastefully decorated and 2 porches and a patio to enjoy the outdoors . Stargazing was great due to the clear nights. Definitely recommend this rental!

Christmas 2020

Five adults and two dogs stayed at this cabin over Christmas this year! The cabin was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The cabin was also extremely clean and 100% as advertised! We enjoyed our stay so much we inquired about staying another day but the cabin was already booked! We received about a foot of snow Christmas Eve and the driveway was plowed on Christmas Day. The property Manager was extremely attentive and easy to reach. The WiFi was very intermittent and slow, however, luckily we didn’t need it much. Lovely place that I would highly recommend and would go back myself!

Cozy cabin stay, beware of fireplace

We enjoyed 3 nights of high cling hills during peak color changes of the season! We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. We had necessary utensils to help repair our food. Some said the beds were too firm, but I slept well. I loved the soft blankets and fire place. However, when we started a fire in it, with the flu open, smoke filled the loft, and fire alarm went off. So, wouldn’t suggest using it. Updated kitchen and appliances were very nice. There were enough towels and toiletries for our short stay. We saw several types of birds including Pileated woodpeckers and cardinals! Overall, we were pleased with the space!

Disappointed

Advertises sleeps 11, then charges extra for more than 4 people. Kitchen was not clean, especially the cooking appliances. Oven smoked so bad had to air out the cabin. Hot tub had brown bubbles floating in it. Only a couple clothes hangers in the closets. I have used many VRBOs, this was my least enjoyable.

The house rental was very overpriced

This house was okay overall, but there were several issues: 1. It was impossible to regulate the thermostat. The basement was freezing and the loft was so hot we had to open windows (in winter). Our 20-mth-old twin granddaughters slept in the basement and froze. 2. The ceiling fan in the main-level bedroom wobbled so much we were afraid to use it. 3. The queen bed in the basement was so hard that my daughter had to put multiple blankets under the sheets to sleep. 4. The dryer was not working properly. We had to dry our clothes 3 times to get them dry. 5. The loft toilet was the only one (of 3) that flushed adequately. 6. The loft bathroom sink appeared to be clogged and took several minutes to drain. Overall, if the owners are going to charge $900 for a 2-night stay, it should be in perfect condition.

We live in Delaware OH with our 2 little girls. Liberty Ridge was named after our beloved dog at the time, Liberty. We love that the cabin is just over an hour drive from us and can't wait for the girls to grow up vacationing in the Hocking Hills. We want you to feel at home at the cabin and would love for this to be your families go to getaway in the hills!

Why they chose this property

We are both graduates of Ohio University(go Bobcats!) and came to love the Hocking Hills Region during our 4 years in Athens. We knew we wanted a real log cabin near the all of natures attractions in Hocking Hills. This cabin was perfect because it was large enough to accommodate our family and friends and has great outdoor space on the porches, patio and deck! You really can't beat the location of this cabin if you're trying to see all the main sites.

What makes this property unique

Liberty Ridge is far enough away from all the hustle and bustle to truly be able to relax but close enough to our home in Columbus we can be there in an hour! One of the first weekends we spent at the cabin we were surprised to look up on a clear night and see one of the most amazing star filled skies we've ever seen. We are not a management company, we own and operate the cabin ourselves to deliver you the best Hocking Hills experience!!
