It is perfect for couples or families. There is lots of space outside under the covered deck to enjoy the wooded view. You may also bring up to 2 dogs to the Star Ridge for an additional fee. This cabin is sooo comfy and beautiful! So close to all the major hikes, perfect porch, hot tub and fire pit and the interior of the cabin is beautiful! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The cabin is solidly built with great views! Absolutely would recommend.

Adequate cabin. Very clean. Check in and out were simple and smooth. Pros —- Quiet, private, remote and woodsy. Full kitchen Comfortable furniture Very secure and safe Starlink worked great!Cons —- No laundry on site. We all had wet towels after first shower. (We never used the hot tub.) Used provided hooks and towel bars but they never dried all the way. Well water and septic should be disclosed on listing. The smell of both incoming water, and then later, the septic system odor kinda ruined the fire pit experience. No storage in any bedroom other than a closet. Lived out of our suitcases for the period. For the price of the cabin better towels, and at least a warning about the septic/well prior to purchase would be better. We did see the note in the check in guide saying that if the power went out, no water would be available. But given the price of the facility, I’d expect a back up generator on site for that issue.

I was not aware you were having troubles with the water. We have iron filters and water softeners, It was recently serviced but maybe something could have been adjusted. The water should be clear and odor free. I wish you would have reached out. Our septic system is serviced quarterly and we have never noticed a smell, We will definitely look into it. Yes, we have well and septic at our property. We are in the middle of the woods located 1 mile from Old Man's Cave but about 20-25 minutes from the town of Logan where we would have city water/sewer. Our listing includes an accurate reflection of our amenities including photos of all of the rooms. Future guests - if you are interested in staying at Star Ridge, please take a look at all of our photos and amenities and read all of the other reviews to get a complete idea of what Star Ridge has to offer.
