Guests will have access to the full cabin, all building amenities, and approximately 2.7 acres of secluded land. Please make yourself at home. 

COMFORT: The Madison offers two queen size master bedrooms with an additional full size bed in the loft space. There is a multifunction futon allowing the cabin to be able to sleep up to a total of 8 if needed. The Madison also has a hot tub, theater like seating, cable tv, fast Starlink WiFi, a large 60" flat screen TV in the basement (and large flat screen TV on the main floor), and Roku players in each master bedrooms. We provide Hulu, Disney+, and YouTube TV (including the NFL Sunday Ticket!) with fast internet service and Starlink satellite internet (the best available in the Hocking Hills area). Each master bedroom has a spacious full en suite bathroom.

CONVENIENCE: Located in the heart of the Hocking Hills region. Easy, quick access to Hocking Hills favorites, including Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Conkle's Hollow, Cedar Falls, and more! Abundant beauty and hiking to enjoy year round. Also convenient for Hocking Hills activities, such as zip lining, trail riding, rock climbing, and many others! 6 minutes to Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards!

CLEANLINESS: We employ local professional cleaners who understand that our guests want to immediately settle in and feel confident that the cabin is up to their standards.

SUSTAINABILITY: The cabin has been audited by Sustonica and awarded a sustainability badge. From community involvement to eco-friendly design, we’ve created a warm escape that respects our beautiful Hocking Hills.

We're here for you during your stay, but allow our guests the freedom to enjoy the cabin without interruption. If needed, we also employ a local host who is available for any issues involving the cabin.  

During the winter months, if inclement weather (snow/ice) accumulates, it would be best to use a 4wd vehicle for access to the Chalet. We employ a snow plowing service to have the driveway clean and clear for guests when snow accumulates more than 2".

Cabin Quirks: We love coming down to our cabin for its cozy charm and the way Hocking Hills allows us to unplug from our hectic day to day routines. It gives us the gift of quality time together and the chance to focus on the moments that count.  Hocking Hills cabins often have quirks, including well water (some guests prefer to bring bottled water) and cell service that's spotty at times (guest can use our typically reliable WiFi for both calls and texting).  

Guests are encouraged to review the cancellation policy and consider purchasing travel insurance to accompany their reservation.

Family trip

The cabin was perfect for our family get-away. Our group enjoyed sitting on the porch playing games, relaxing in the hotub, and grilling/cooking meals to enjoy. The location is great! We hiked Rock House, Conkles Hollow, and Old Man’s Cave. Very nice cabin! A great place to make memories.

The Madison is an absolute gem. It is in a beautiful setting. It’s quiet and peaceful. The cabin was so clean. The accommodations were great. Everything we needed and beyond was provided. Communication with Dan & Casey was easy and top notch. My kids already want to go back!

Amazing cabin with beautiful surroundings!

We had an amazing stay at the Madison - very clean, well organized with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the peaceful meadow. Would highly recommend!

Great trip

Had a great time on our family trip. The kids had a blast hiking during the day and roasting s’mores over the fire at night. The adults also enjoyed the hot tub at night once the kids went to bed. Close proximity to all of the trails and the house was very clean. Definitely would recommend.

My family and I loved our stay at The Madison. The cabin was very clean and well-kept, and we really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. The surroundings were very peaceful and the owners were very responsive and got back to us right away when we had questions. 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Dan and Casey were quick to respond when we had a question. The property is beautiful and we seen so many deer while drinking our coffee out on the patio every morning. We will definitely come back.

The perfect getaway

We were looking for a private space for a time away to rest and to get creative. This place was perfect. It was very spacious. The hot tub was incredible. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy. The hosts were quick with responses and super helpful. We will definitely recommend this property as well as book again.

Great Access to Hocking Hills

This was the ideal spot to get away while staying within reasonable driving distance to Hocking Hills. My only complaint was lack of pantry space and no laundry. But the price was right and it was a comfortable place to relax after a long day of hiking.

Fantastic Cabin near Hocking Hills

This cabin was perfect for our family’s first visit to Hocking Hills. It was very close to the biggest Hocking Hills attractions while being secluded from others. We had a rainy evening and morning and had a lovely time relaxing at the cabin. The covered porch was perfect! It allows us to grill and eat outside during a warm, summer rain. One of my favorite things about this cabin is it is well stocked (kitchen supplies, board games, foosball, little library, extra blankets, etc.) but not overly stocked or crowded. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Conviently located with privacy and beautiful views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, comfortable, and well stocked cabin. Both bathrooms are huge with large walk-in showers and plenty of counter space. The cabin is located on 2 acres and provides beautiful views of fields and woods by day and bright starry skies by night. We even saw deer! We especially enojoyed relaxing in the hot tub, which has plenty of privacy for guests. Dan and Casey are great hosts and provide an online guide with everything you need to know about the cabin, area attractions and restaurants. We love 58 West and The Old Dutch restaurants in Logan. We will be back!

Perfect Memorial Weekend

This was the perfect setup for our Memorial weekend family getaway to the Hocking Hills. The cabin is located down what I would call a private gravel road. There are only 3 other houses on the road and zero traffic. It is very private and secluded. The cabin is only 2 years old and is very clean. The loft area was perfect setup for our 14 year old daughter & the basement was a great for our two boys(13 and 10) with one sleeping on the futon. It was like had their own apartment with an air hockey table and a NES classic. Both the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with plenty of paper towel & toilet paper. The kitchen had everything we needed to do all of our cooking including not one, but two pizza cutters. The bathrooms are huge. You could probably put another bed in the one in the basement. Hocking Hills State Park and it's 3 main hikes(Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave & Cedar Falls) are all within a 15 minute drive from the cabin. We also hiked the Rock House trail(kids favorite) and the less popular Rockbridge trail(personal favorite). We spent most of our mornings exploring the area & hiking and the afternoons at the cabin relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out on the covered deck. We had no cell service in the area around the cabin(I'm not complaining) but the wifi worked great at the cabin and we didn't have any issues even with multiple devices going. This is a new cabin close to the main attractions of the area, but also away from it all. It has every modern amenity you could think of. Highly recommended.

Easy process. Beautiful place all around! 15-40 mins from everything. Big box stores being the furthest. A lot of mom & pop shops closer. Cabin was perfect for our big family. Plenty of sleeping areas, different places to relax or hangout. Showers and bathrooms were incredible and huge. Had a lot of necessities for the kitchen.dishwasher was nice so we didnt have to spend our whole vacation doing dishes. The views were incredible, lots of deer. Didnt deal with ticks or mosquitoes. Hot tub was perfect, even on the hot days.. perfectly shaded and relaxing. Finding it was easy. Overall amazing place, highly recommend!!!

Casey and Dan are the owners/operators of Reflections Hocking Hills, a small collection of chalet-style cabins and other unique properties. Casey grew up in the country while Dan's been more or less a lifetime city dweller. We met in Columbus and Casey was anxious to share her love of the Hocking Hills region, something that goes back many years. We never dreamt that we'd own a cabin of our own there, but are excited at the chance to host guests at our cabin while using it ourselves when we need a respite from the hectic day-to-day.

We love traveling, having visited France, China, Russia, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Iceland, The Netherlands, and Mexico over the years, and hope that list just continues to grow. Across all of those trips, the hospitality we received was always crucial in shaping our travels and we hope to provide the absolute best to all of our guests.

Why they chose this property

The Madison had everything we were looking for (all the modern comforts of home but the peace and quiet of a rural retreat that also happens to be striking distance of everything Hocking Hills has to offer!)

What makes this property unique

The Madison balances the desired seclusion and proximity to the trails, caves, and waterfalls that many guests seek. You won't have to see another human during your stay if that's your preference, but can also quickly access the best hikes that Hocking Hills State Park offers (Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Conkle's Hollow are all within a 12-15 min drive).

*We require guests reserving the Madison to be 25 years old or older and there be a person 25 years or older for the duration of the reservation.

*The cabin is a non-smoking property, including outdoor spaces and including tobacco, natural, and vaping.

*Despite being animal lovers and pet owners ourselves, the Madison is not a pet-friendly property.

*No parties/events are allowed at the cabin.

*Note: The Madison does have a Ring smart doorbell for security purposes. It is located at the front entrance of the cabin facing parking.
