This place was just as it's pictured, great layout for a couple or families with kids. Private location, close to the beaches and St Armands, restaurants, etc. Host was responsive and kind! We love Lido Key and Siesta and plan to come back for another stay this year :)

Great house and location. We enjoyed our stay. For those reading the reviews referencing the private beach with gated access please note it is not available to renters. This was a major reason we booked this property. Other than that an overall great experience in a very upscale and quiet neighborhood.

We had a fantastic stay with 4 adults and a 2 year old! The house was complete with kid friendly toys, eating utensils and other thoughtful items. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs and a wagon that made it a perfect relaxing trip for adults and kids! The pool was beautiful and everything was as listed!

Even better than we imagined

Anna was a wonderful host. The home is clean, spacious, beautiful. The private beach was so convenient. We stayed with another family and everyone was very comfortable. We spent days at the beach but would also use the pool. Heading to town was easy and we even walked. I highly recommend staying in Anna’s home.

Great stay!

This is an amazing house and neighborhood! We spent the days relaxing in the pool and walking to St Armands Key and the nearby park/marina/aquarium area, all within about a mile walk. The private beach with key entry is incredible but is about half a mile walk or you can drive and park. The house was very nicely decorated and had all the necessities. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon!

Outstanding!

The property was everything as described, and the host was fantastic—responsive and helpful whenever needed. My family and I had an amazing stay in this gorgeous home in Lido Key. The pool was a hit with teens and adults, and the walk to the beach was so close and the beach was beautiful. Teen boys walked to St. Armand's Circle themselves and loved their freedom. First VRBO experience and it was terrific. Thank you Anna for your hospitality and for sharing your lovely home with us!

Great Spring Break

We stayed at this property for our Spring Break. The property was very clean and met all of our needs. The pool area was great. The neighborhood was really nice and the location was close enough to St. Armand's circle that we walked there a few times. The private beach access at the end of the street was priceless. Our communication with the property owner was excellent. Overall, it was a great property and stay for us!

Lido beach

The property was nice. Some home repairs are needed. Entry is rotting. The plus to this property is in a great location. Easy access to beach. Lots of toys for kids and fun toys for the pool as well. Our vacation was perfect and Anna communicated well.

Perfect for two families!

Our two families, which included 4 kids, stayed for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was stocked with everything we could need including age-appropriate toys, games and equipment for our toddler (booster, pack n play). There is a terrific pool with tons of toys/ floats in the back. There is a secure alarm to access the pool which gave us great peace of mind with the kids. Communication with the host was also super easy. Highly recommend!

Excellent for wheelchair user

Our family enjoyed a week at this property. Anna was very good at answering our specific questions about wheelchair accessibility. She provided a ramp to the one entry step, and information about the tiny half-step inside that our wheelchair could bounce over.We were able to borrow for free a beach wheelchair from the lifesaver at the Lido Public Beach.This house has a kitchen that is well-appointed, so we did some cooking. But, the restaurants at St Armands were in easy walking distance, and we enjoyed some wonderful meals, and were happy to support the business owners who were flooded by Milton and Helene.This property has a lovely lanai, and a private swimming pool, with lots of big beach towels.The house itself is located on a smaller street with very little traffic. Parking is right in front of the house.There is a pathway to a private beach for your morning walk that is nearby.The house shows some very minor signs of age that didn’t bother us at all.

A true super host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lido Shores! The house was very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Anna was truly a super host. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had a minor issue and she went above and beyond to make sure things were resolved right away. Highly recommend!

Good to Great, not Outstanding

The neighborhood is megamansions and the property values are super high. the location is the reason. this home, though, is still vintage 1950s and hasn't been torn down / rebuilt like all the others. It has a good but small living room. Great kitchen. Good but old pool. Great screened patio. Good but not great beds. the floor plan works great for the two king rooms; but isn't so good for the kids room and the two queen bedded room. No furniture to store clothes, and slightly cluttered closets with toys and such. There has been nice work done to the house, and we had a fine time. But when I think of the price, I think next time we would book a villa on Longboat Key ...it's only a few hundred yards further from St. Armands. At a better price, it's a comfortable good to great place to stay.

Anna and this BEAUTIFUL home are EXCEPTIONAL!! We WILL be back!!

From the moment we initiated our reservation, Anna was a SUPER HOST!! She checked in with us when we were running a little late to be sure we were OK, the check in process could not have been smoother, we were met with a warm welcoming note and gift, when we reached out with a question she replied immediately, check out was a breeze!! The property is beautiful!! It is elegant and inviting and VERY comfy!! So much thoughtfulness can be seen in every detail!! The pool is fabulous and the private beach entrance and area was the icing on the cake for our family!! This was truly a PERFECT perfect getaway!! We WILL be back!!
