About this property

Welcome to the Captain's Nook. Get ready to make some great memories!

It is a short walk or drive to the community beach and boat ramp, as they are approximately 1 block away. (400 yards from our property to the water's edge.)

2 sit-on kayaks and oars are provided for your enjoyment!

The master bedroom has a queen bed and a large private bathroom with his-and-her sinks, a shower, and a separate large garden tub. The additional 2 bedrooms have a full bed, and bunk beds, respectively. Bedding and pillows are provided. An additional full bathroom has a combination tub / shower. Toilet paper and hand soap is provided.

The living room has a fireplace and a pullout sofa. The dining area has a 6 person dining table for meals or games.

The kitchen has a large island, farmhouse style sink, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. Most kitchenware is provided (utensils / cups / plates / cookware). Some pantry items are provided. Please "take 1 / leave 1" as needed.

Parking: There is a standard sized carport with 2 spaces, and plenty of open yard for parking additional vehicles or lake toys.

Additional amenities: High speed internet / Wifi, 3 televisions with streaming capability, 1 DVD player and assorted DVDs, assorted board games, outdoor propane grill (please refill or replace propane as needed), central heat and air, washer and dryer, and a pack-and-play.

Belle Starr marina is 6 minutes away. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park (float park) is less than 15 minutes away. Robber's Cave is less than an hour away.

Dollar General and gas stations are within 5 minutes. A Walmart is 16 minutes away.

Weekend get away

The house is very clean. Be sure to take your own towel and washcloths. About two or more blocks away from the water. I thought pic of the water was a little deceiving. Owner was very friendly and responded quickly.

Great time

We had a great time with family here. We enjoyed the lake and how close it was. Glad it wasn’t right out the door since we had little kids. Very nice and clean house! Would recommend to anyone to stay there. Only addition would be skewers for s’mores!
