Just what we needed.

We were thrilled with the house. It was well stocked. The 4 bedrooms with 4, very comfortable, queen beds were perfect for our family of 4 siblings. The pool and spa were beautiful and relaxing and made for great pictures of family. We will remember this week and the family time it gave us.

Just OK

The house was nice, but the kitchen was SEVERELY UNDERSTOCKED. No large pot, no hot pads, had to search for hand towels. There is a dollar store just down the road that they could restock the whole kitchen for a low price. It wasn't clear that the Main Bedroom also housed the triple decker bunkbeds which meant there was no nightstand by the bed in that room. While I never expected the pool to be heated, I also did not expect to have to pay an additional $60 a day for just 6 hours of heated hot tub. AND, they have no disclaimer about how that hot tub is heated. Scalding water shoots out of the jets on a cycle. So one minute you are able to have your back against the jets, and then all of a sudden VERY hot water is shooting out and you can no longer sit in front of the jets. The house sleeps 11, in the 4 bedrooms, but there are only 2 loungers by the pool.....not enough at all. There were only 4 of us and we expected to at least all be able to lounge by the pool.

Hi Sarah, thank you for feedback. We are very sorry your stay wasn’t as expected. We are sorry couldn’t find those items in the kitchen. We do provide those items. We wish you would’ve reached out to us during your stay to solve this issue. Regarding the other issues you stated, respectfully, we think they could’ve been avoided by you fully going through our listing description, photos, and rules. Our listing description clearly states the sleeping arrangements and the presence of the triple twin bunk bed in the master bedroom. In addition our listing, photos show the master bedroom layout. Also, our listing photos show that there are only 2 loungers by the pool. (Thank for this feedback, though. We’ll consider adding more loungers) Regarding the additional fees to heat the hot tub, it’s also clearly stated in our listing description and house rules. As far as how the hot tub is heated, it works exactly as a home heater. The hot tub is set to maintain the water temperature to a specified temperature; hot water flows out the jets to heat the hot tub until it reaches the specified temperature. Once the hot reaches the specified temperature, the water heater turns off and the water in the hot tub is recirculating. Once the water temperature falls below the specified temperature, the heater turns ON to raise the water temperature. It’s my understanding this is how all hot tub operate and this explains the periodic difference in water temperature shooting through the jets. Again, we are sorry your stay wasn’t as expected but most of your issues could’ve been avoided by fully going through our listing information. Respectfully, in the future, we recommend you to read all listing details to avoid any surprises.

Fantastic stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better property and host. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made it easy from check-in to check-out. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property!
