About this property

Private Hocking Hills Cabin| Hot Tub + Firepit

Summary:

Tucked away on 5 private wooded acres, this cozy Hocking Hills cabin is the kind of place you come to truly slow down. Spend your days exploring nearby trails and your evenings soaking in the hot tub or gathered around the fire. Inside, you’ll find warm, inviting spaces designed to feel comfortable and relaxed. Just minutes from Old Man’s Cave, yet it feels completely secluded—perfect for couples, families, or a quiet weekend away.

The Space:

Claddagh Cabin was thoughtfully built by a local Amish craftsman to feel both cozy and connected to nature. With warm wood tones and inviting spaces, it’s designed for slow mornings, relaxed afternoons, and quiet evenings in. Whether you’re gathering with family, slipping away for a romantic weekend, or simply needing a reset, this space makes it easy to unplug and settle in.

Upstairs, you’ll find a comfortable living area with a fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook at home, and a dining space perfect for shared meals. The main-level bedroom features a queen bed, along with a full bathroom for convenience.

The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, and a simple coffee station to start your mornings. Basic pantry staples like seasonings are provided, along with soft bath linens and separate towels for the hot tub, thoughtfully placed by the patio door for easy access.

The lower level is designed as a relaxed hangout space—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With two queen beds, a half bed, and comfortable couches, there’s plenty of room for everyone. You’ll also find a second bathroom, making it ideal for families or groups. Step outside directly from the basement to enjoy the fire pit, where evenings are best spent making s’mores under the string lights and tree canopy.

Outside, the cabin truly shines. Enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table, grill out in the evenings, or soak in the 7–8 person hot tub surrounded by trees. With string lights overhead and the quiet of nature all around, it’s the kind of space you’ll want to linger in long after the sun goes down.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire cabin, with the exception of a locked furnace/storage room.

Other Things to Note:

The driveway is easily passable during the warmer months. However, if there is snow or ice four wheel drive is recommended.

We didn't get to experience anything! We got to our cabin and there was a family already there. The owners double booked the cabin. It was 11:00 at night and we had no where to go. Owner was zero help, assistant did confirm they double booked. No apologizes, no help in finding lodging. Neither of them checked on us to see if we were okay. Nothing! Worst experience I have ever had with a booking. I would not recommend booking from this host, EVER. Obviously never checks on her reservations to make sure everything is in order. If it wasn't for a very helpful person in the next cabin, we would not even have been able to get hold of the host. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
