Designed with families in mind, our single-story ranch features 3 cozy bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and a king bed. If you have little ones, we`ve got you covered with a full-sized crib, pack n play, highchair, and more. Plus, a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Entertainment options abound with TVs in every bedroom and the living room, as well as a hot tub, fire table, and grill on our side deck. And don`t forget about our selection of games and toys that are sure to keep both kids and adults entertained for hours.

Our dedicated team is just a call or text away, ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have during your stay. And for those looking to explore the lake, we can arrange for a boat dock with advance notice.

For the ultimate relaxation, take advantage of our late check-out (12:30) or early check-in (2pm) options for $75. And don`t worry about leaving your furry friends behind – we welcome pets with a $75 cleaning fee.

Sows on Sixth is a dreamy vacation rental. Within walking distance to a charming local ice cream place, restaurants, coffee shops, and more. Many relaxing walks taken through this safe neighborhood, too. Beautiful views of the water. This VRBO was clean and exactly as it was described. I would definitely stay here again!

Property was very easy to find, A lot of parking, very comfortable beds and seemed very freshly remodeled. Was a very easy check in and check out process, fantastic location to buzz around the lake and we greatly enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub at the end of the day.

Super cute lake cottage

Rented for a week long stay, the host was very accommodating and the cottage was fantastic. Initially I was concerned about it being large enough but it has a very open floor plan with every inch of space being utilized, it felt much larger than the square footage indicacted and all guests were comfortable. Would definitely stay again. The hot tub was a huge bonus too!

This property had everything that you could imagine. It was located near Buckeye Lake for beginners. Great neighborhood! It is also nicely located between the Columbus Zoo and The Wilds. Some of the amenities that were enjoyed/appreciated the most included the hot tub, a well stocked kitchen, games, excellent communication, lots of linens, the super cute piggy theme, multiple TVs, comfortable mattresses, and a great welcome package of bathroom supplies. Would highly recommend staying here!

Adorable Piggy Palace!

We had the best time at this cute cottage at Buckeye Lake. You couldn't find a better location, right next to the marina and the ice cream parlor. The décor was fabulous. I loved the piggy theme. It was too hot to use the hot tub, but it was very nice and large enough to fit all of us had we wanted to get in. The neighborhood is friendly and laid back. Lake Life. I would definitely go back there.

Nice Little House, But…

Nice little house in a very friendly neighborhood. Love seat, sofa and living room rug are filthy. Someone else’s food was in the fridge when we arrived and the bowls, frying pain and flat ware were not clean.

Cute, clean, fun... but a little more readiness for guests would go a long way.

We came for the Luke Bryan concert and stayed 3 nights and had a great time. The house is close to a marina and a few stores including a cute coffee shop and Mexican restaurant. We drove a little further and also checked out Pappa Boos and enjoyed dinner on the water. All in all we had a great time. The pros- cute, clean, updated. Owner was quick to communicate and available when needed. The cons- The house itself is fine aside from the awkwardly placed island that blocks access to the fridge. This is honestly the biggest reason we wouldn't stay again. The layout is awful and makes it hard to get food in and out. I've never seen anything like it. The front door lock is broken so when we arrived we couldn't get in and had to contact the owner to get a lockbox code to go in through a side door where a key was left. We were told the hot tub was sanitized and heated to 104 and ready to go. Our first night there we got dressed and went to get in and found it to be off and ice cold. We had to reset the power to get it to come back on and it took until the next afternoon to get hot. By then we were leaving for the concert and didn't use it, so the first 2 of 3 days this amenity was essentially unavailable. The owner did offer to let us walk down the street to another one of her rentals to use the hot tub, but we passed due to the inconvenience. The shower rod fell on my sister's head when she went to take a shower and is very touchy, so be careful opening the curtain lol.

We appreciate the feedback and are always looking to improve. We’ve done our best with the layout and the size of the home while accounting for a door and window that limit fridge placement. The hot tub breaker had been popped by a storm before your arrival and I was able to walk you through resetting it the first night (and offered the hot tub a few doors down that was vacant). The hot tub was ready to use the next morning, as it only takes 6-8 hours to reheat. We will certainly adjust the tension on the shower rod, and as I explained a few times over the phone, the door lock is not broken; however it is electronic and you do have to wait until the lock fully retracts before attempting to force the door open. We do keep a spare key at the house for emergencies and/or lock problems so guests can easily continue on their stay in the event of an issue with the lock- however cleaning verified after you departed the deadbolt is fully operational with no issues. Coming out of busy season it’s not uncommon for the house to be vacant several days between guests and the last time it was cleaned, we will start being more diligent on checking on the hot tub before check-in, especially after storms.

Hot tub smelled horrible, like we didn’t even use it because it smelled so bad. House and bathroom smelled horrible as well. Definitely mold or mildew somewhere, moisture present. We reached out about the smell and we were told they’ve never had the problem and that the house was newer (it’s very obvious it is not). We woke up our first morning to a slug crawling out from under the fridge that was almost the size of a hotdog! Reached out about that and we were told “sorry that happened”. There are cracks all over on the floor which make the tile very sharp. House was clean for the most part. There is barely enough room to open the fridge and freezer. The fridge was defrosted or doing it on its own, we had to wipe it all out to use it. The washer and dryer are super loud also! The grass was over grown when we got there as well. Overall, we were not impressed with our stay or the cost for a house with a hot tub that smelled too bad to even use.

When the guest reached out about the smell we offered to come to the property/remedy, which was declined. We have not had any issues with mold/mildew; but we are on a lake and this stay was during summer and a heat wave. This is a relatively newly built home (2023) We very diligently manage our hot tubs with chemical logs, regular draining, and testing before check in. We were never once contacted about any concerns with the hot tub or we would’ve immediately remedied it. That being said we are on well water which does not smell the same as public city water. We do not have any tile floors - all LVP. Our fridge space and kitchen island is tight; this is a small home (900sqft) and we did our best to utilize space as best as possible. The guests did find a slug- being at the lake in summer this is not uncommon- we do have our homes inspected and treated monthly by a fantastic pest control company.
