Communication from the host was great about what to do at check in/out. Cabin was so cute & clean and we loved the location. It was so quiet & cozy. We will definitely be back! Great girls weekend trip!!
The property was excellent in every way. The cabin was clean and inviting, we felt very comfortable during our stay. The fire pit and hot tub made it even better. We liked the proximity to Hocking Hills State Park and other attractions. I know we will be going back to stay again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deerview! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Picturesque surroundings, well stocked bathroom, kitchen had everything we needed. The owner has gone over and above,to earn their 5stars!
This the 2nd time I have stayed here. This property is perfect in all your needs. Great location, private and all the right amenities. Check in and out is easy. This the best place to relax and recharge after a day on the trails.
Beautiful, hidden cabin away from city noise. Well maintained and comfortable. Directions to cabin are difficult to follow and just a little off, but keep looking -- it's worth it!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Pretty disappointed. Hot tub water was green, with scum/bacteria around the waterline. Incredibly strong sulfur smell to all house water. Unable to use bedroom ceiling fan/light due to exposed wires, which was protected by having painters tape over the light switch. Mattresses were from Ikea (literally) and reminded me of hospital mattresses, no cushion/give, and any movement at all was incredible noisy. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked, although would have been nice to have a least some type of coffee creamer. Internet was fast.
It’s pretty private. The cabin was really nice. My only negative experience was the couch. It really needs replaced. There is wood visible and was super uncomfortable. Other than that it was fantastic. The host was awesome. Very responsive! Will go back
The cabin exceeded expectations. Booked the cabin for a family Birthday celebration. I drove in from Tennessee and knew instantly I had picked a winner. Everything that is described in the listing is accurate. Everything we needed was in place right down to the 5 gallon water cooler and a well stocked kitchen. The cabin was immaculate and comfortable inside and the outdoor spaces were great. I think we sat out by the campfire until midnight both nights. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely be staying at DeerView. Also, communication with the host was fantastic.
The Deerview cabin was perfect—clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub and peaceful porch, where we even watched a family of deer walk by. The host was responsive and accommodating, and the nearby trails and scenery were absolutely stunning. A true fairy-land getaway! Highly Recommend!
Very nice, well-equipped cabin in a quiet, private, relaxing wooded setting. We had no significant issues. The host responded promptly to a couple of questions we had. The location was perfect for going to the various trails we hiked in Hocking Hills State Park. The hot tub was great after a day on the trails!
We loved our stay here at deerview! The cabin is in a perfect spot with everything we wanted to do within a 20 minute drive and we saw so much wildlife while just sitting on the deck. Everything we needed was provided for us and communication was top tier!
Overall very good. Just needed rocks to fill in holes where water is collected by fire pit. Also well water not best option. Overall cabin very nice would recommend anybody stay at the deerview
I would have to say the things that made the most impression on me was it was so QUIET!! All we heard were birds and the rustling of brush as a deer came out to visit. The cabin is small but has open ceiling with a spacious loft. The kitchen was small but had what we needed to fix meals. Plenty of towels and hot water was an appreciated plus! The hot tub was clean and hot to relax in. There wasn’t any yard but a spot to have a campfire. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the woods.
Everything was exactly as explained or pictured. My husband & I both highly recommend this cabin. Very well kept, very clean, communication was top notch. Thank you!
My teenage daughter and I recently had a wonderful stay! We loved the hot tub, comfy couch, well stocked kitchen and comfortable/separate bedrooms. The cabin was close to all of the trails we wanted to hike and was secluded enough to provide the peaceful retreat we were looking for! We would definitely book again if we return to the area for another getaway.
We had a nice time, some things of concern. the hot tub cover was broke and difficult to take off and on without help. some of the jets were missing and also the chlorine floater was broken due to the hot tub cover not working properly. The biggest problem was with the mice, this is clearly a problem and it seems that some traps need to be implemented. The counters were wiped often and mice droppings appeared the next morning, they also got into some of our food. Overall this was a decent stay.
