Pool is available to use after pool liability waiver is signed. There will be no compensation if pool is not in working.
Toilet tissue ONLY To be used. If system clogs due to other objects, guest will be charged for septic company’s fee to unclog.

Quiet and Serene

We were welcomed to this home by the owner upon our arrival and were immediately happy with the decision to rent this for our vacation. The proximity to so many locations such as Mystic, CT and Newport, RI made it the perfect home base. The home itself was lovely and made for a perfect stay. The yard was vast and the pool was perfect for our kids. The sunroom was a wonderful gathering spot for us as we enjoyed a couple days at home. Having one TV was actually a benefit as it gathered everyone in the living room in the evening for some movies. Overall, the home was perfect in every way and we would certainly consider it again.

Great stay at Cottage by the Sea!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage by the Sea! The property location is excellent and the access to the private beach and parking was fantastic! The house was decorated nicely and it felt very cozy and comfortable. The 3 season room, deck, yard, and pool offer an awesome outdoor space that we thoroughly enjoyed! The house was furnished with everything needed to cook and/or grill if you’re looking to dine in rather than out, but also many great restaurants nearby. Pamela/the host, was very welcoming and provided all the information needed to make check-in and our week easy. She was very responsive and very accommodating which was very appreciated. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Cottage by the Sea and hope to be back next year!

My husband and I have spent our summers in Rhode Island for the last 45 years. We love everything this beautiful state has to offer, especially the beautiful sandy beaches, boating, fishing, clamming, restaurants and people.

Why they chose this property

QEBA ( Quonochontaug East Beach Association) is a very tight knit and active community of passionate ocean loving people. There are constant family events planned such as beach socials, sand castle contests, corn hole tournaments, etc.

What makes this property unique

It is a very cozy cottage with a newly build three season room that lets you enjoy the beautiful, serene backyard with perennial gardens, chipmunks playing, wrens in the birdhouses, hummingbirds, bunnies, etc. A walk or bike ride will take you to both a beautiful beach or salt pond.
