This was a beautiful home at the top of the mountains. It had all the amenities a home can offer. Amazing features with outstanding views of all San Jose.i could live here.

Primo VRBO in Escazu

A well designed guest-casa with excellent technology available. I was injured just prior to our arrival, and appreciate that the host allowed a care-giver and his wife to stay with my wife and me to assist me to walk and carry things. Also, this rental is within 15 minutes commute to CIMA-hospital related healthcare.

Staying here, I feel as though I am teetering on the cusp of escapism, floating just above the everyday world, with the city's hum softened beneath me. Perhaps it is the bungalow's structure—a place where space and air meet, where rooftops feel like thresholds to a larger world—that allows guests to explore, yet still return to a calm, curated atmosphere. There’s something evocative, almost nostalgic, about the amenities that greet you upon arrival. High-speed internet, air conditioning, and a television, reminders of home comforts, act as anchors in a foreign land, ensuring you do not stray too far into a sense of dislocation. Yet, here in Escazú’s vibrant district, every detail remains attuned to the essence of place. This blend of familiarity and novelty is made even more seamless by the amenities provided—the soft bath sheets, the poised elegance of a hairdryer waiting on a vanity, and the quiet assurance of hot showers. San Jose Visit

Hi, the stay was great and the house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Location is also great....the only issue is that the neighbors have dogs that don't stop barking. They have German Shepards who are constantly barking at any noise and any person who goes by. They also have small dogs which do not stop barking the entire time they are outside. This is the large White House to the left of the house. The other neighbor is very quiet. Other than these dogs barking constantly the house is very nice. We had our dog with us and he is not a barker and he ignores other dogs....we did not put him outside even though the yard is completely fenced since the other dogs go straight to the fence and growl and bark at him so we only brought him outside to pee and put him right back in. Very unfortunate because this is a house we would return to but because these dogs are constantly barking - even during the night it made the stay unpleasant which is unfortunate because it's very close to Escazu.

Nice view

This is a very nice house. Communication could definitely use some attention. Tried before check in date but never got a response until day of arrival. Good directions but we surprised the cleaning girl. She did not know we were coming and then rushed to clean while we waited on the porch. The girl was very apologetic. Not her fault. The showers are very dirty with soap scum. Doubt that was from just one renter before us. Maybe a language problem but I asked twice for fuel for fire pit. There was an empty bottle of fuel but they insisted it was there. Second request was answered with it is where you wash the ducks. Again just not easy to communicate. There was advertised that there was a double sofa sleeper that would have been used by us but it is not there. This could have been so nice and probably is for most. Just was not for us. I hope they take my criticism as it is meant so improvements can be made to help the next renter.
