About this property
Cozy Creekside Chalet centrally located near 4 ski resorts
If it is time to retreat from the hustle, bustle, and busyness of your life, this is the perfect place. That's what we did. We came to Vermont and never left. Maybe you will become our neighbors. You will fall in love with this house, nestled in a little meadow in the forest. It looks like a private Swiss Chalet in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
Sweet Forestream is close to the heart of Weston, we are hidden on a tranquil dead-end dirt road away from traffic noise.
The space
As refugees from the city, we have put lots of care and attention into making our place feel comfortable, welcoming and warm, elegant yet down to earth. We live close by in case you need anything. 4.5 minutes away!
The house sleeps up to 8 adults and is distributed across 3 levels with beautiful lawns outside. It will be spacious for 6 guests to stay comfortably. For more than 6 guests, we charge additional guests are $80 per night. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds, two have full beds and one queen. You will have exclusive access to the entire house and land. Additional guests are $80 per night. Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $75 per stay. Security cameras are in place at the front door for your protection.
There are five separate bedrooms, so you are not crowded into rooms with more than one bed: A spacious master bedroom upstairs with beautiful afternoon light you can enjoy after a morning exploration, a full bedroom on the main floor, and three smaller bedrooms on the ground floor with a direct entryway. The airy loft balcony room is set up as a workspace and additional sitting room. Lots of beautiful, traditional lamps throughout the house.
It's a great place for a romantic vacation or a get-together of family and friends for an exploration of the trails, meadows, rivers, lakes, and mountains of Vermont, covered bridges, skiing, cross-country skiing, and cute old towns.
Some of the highlights of the home include:
- Easy to operate a glowing pellet stove
- Fully stocked kitchen with special coffee corner
- Widescreen TV with sound bar in the living room
- Two balconies with seating
- Five Bedrooms
- Two Bathrooms (one shower and one tub)
- Outside chairs
- Games for kids and grown-ups
- Fresh linens and towels
- 1.4 Acres of private lawns, woods, a stream, and a picnic table for outside enjoyment
- Soap and shampoo containers in each of the two bathrooms
- Little Japanese Bridge over the stream to an outside bench where you can watch the water flow
- Comfortable chairs, gliders, and rocking chairs
- Separate loft with a desk for your work
- Two-story vaulted living room

You will have exclusive access to the entire house and land.

Why they chose this property
Our home is in a quiet neighborhood on a secluded drive. Coyotes and owls are often heard at night, and deer walk the street. The house is incredibly calming. We are in a tranquil, safe area where you can see beautiful stars and the moon shining at night. Watch hummingbirds flitting around the garden.
