This little old house was very unique definitely different which i like different so it was great nice and quiet with a very easy checkout which is amazing
Spacious, clean, and super charming! We were just a couple blocks away from everything downtown yet it was quiet with plenty of parking. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the bed was super comfortable! We will definitely be back!
The property was cute, spacious. Loved the fun Dolly decor. Recommend a blind or sealed up for light in the bedroom window from the street light, very bright!!
Great downtown location. Cute decor. Could use a few updates but nothing major. Wish we had known the yard & driveway were being rented as it was a little weird having people right outside your windows/doors but we made it work. Most time of the year I'm sure that wouldn't have been any issue.
House was nice and clean inside. Outside could use a little sprucing up. The garbage cans outside were overflowing . Overall we really liked the house and we enjoyed our stay was nice and quiet. We would stay there again.

Window in door broken out. Covered with cardboard. Windows opened upon check in. Back door unlocked. Felt very unsafe and no one stayed. Proprietor was notified immediately upon check in. He stated he was aware of broken glass. This was NOT disclosed refund was requested but he would not give. Would never recommend this place

Pretty in pink
The property was fine was not able to contact manager no phone # could be found had to leave a note when leaving
First impression was a big downer as the listing stated the property featured a double futon AND a double pull out sofa bed. Sadly this was not the case.

Not the cleanest...knives left in kitchen sink, microwave not wiped out. Wet laundry left in washing machine. Bed sort of half ass made. Entry difficult for senior with arthiritus in hands both key box and locking dead bolt to come and go with a plate that was mounted there for some reason. Pane of glass broken on front door. Maintaining property did not seem to be a big concern. While taking care of business apx 4 a.m. was greeted by mouse observing my actions. Time for some upkeep. Have stayed at many VRBO's over the years, this one could use Dolly to come in and spruce things up.
Literally, this short term rental is two doors down from the heart of it all! I was in Mt. Sterling for a state tourism meeting at the Gateway Regional Arts Center and it was the perfect location. While I was at my 9 to 5, I knew I would be coming back to Dolly Parton heaven at night! While traveling thru Mt. Sterling, I expected a great experience at the Dolly but it was above expectations. The communication was as clear as Dolly’s message to Jolene, the cleanliness was as pristine as a Coat of Many Colors, and overall was a perfect experience!
My husband, daughter, and I were visiting Kentucky to meet family. The booking process was easy and the owner was very nice to talk to through chat.
The only things that are important to know 1) the house is literally smack-dab in the middle of two businesses, a funeral home and a counseling center. Then beside that, a check cashing place. We were a bit worried about what that might bring but we’re surprised that there wasn’t any sketchy. 2) there is no stove/oven. There is a double hot plate which is ok. But I didn’t realize it at first when looking at the pictures and reading the description. We ate out but had snacks for our 2 year old and we’re able to utilize the microwave. 3) if you’re like me and a boujee, leopard print lovin, Stanley cup toting mama, you’ll find the best little boutiques just down the street within walking distance. 4) if you forgot something that you need, Walmart is not far away. 5) this house is old. It’s not bad but it has creeky floors, old doors, and charm.
Overall, it was a great experience and pleased with our accommodations.
Location to downtown Mt Sterling is perfect, quaint town with lots of shops. Main stay was for family visit over Thanksgiving so we didn't utilize the kitchen much, very basic. Pleasant accommodation with lots of interesting DOLLY artifacts!
