Park Model Cabin-Boulder Junction

We were very happy with our stay and found the cabin to be very comfortable and very well stocked with the things you need when in a home away from home and the campground was very quiet. We really liked the covered patio area which is great when the weather doesn't want to cooperate during your stay. I appreciated how quickly the host answered the questions that we had during our stay

It was perfect for what we were looking for. Not too far from town- Boulder Junction is a very cute/nice town. The cabin itself was clean and the screened in patio was definitely a nice addition. There is great variety of DVDs but I did not see any games, I would suggest guests bring some games for a rainy day. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

The space is workable, but very small. Kitchen is well equipped. Screen porch is very helpful for storage. The bunks are really only suitable for children. Very quiet.

Was as advertised. Hot weekend and air-conditioning was a must. Air worked but thermostat didn't so had to turn it on and off. Other than that was a good stay.

Boulder Junction Stay

We spent a long weekend in Boulder Junction on the bike trails. Loved the outdoor screen porch with fire table. Shared a few things with the host concerning cleanliness. Keep in mind cell service is very poor and no wifi.

Perfect Place for a Digital Detox

A warm welcome by Jay with tips and directions to help the family get settled. The cottage was well prepared for a long or short stay. While an older decor, the cottage has been well maintained and offered some nostalgic forms of media (cassette deck, cassette tapes and dvd player). The days and nights were almost completely silent with plenty of privacy. The screen porch was very nice for dining without bugs buzzing around your plate. This was a very memorable visit and hope to visit again.

Bike trip to Boulder Junction

This was a very pleasant stay, The host was excellent. The only drawback was the overall size of the unit. It was advertised as a park model however it was smaller than we had expected. The unit was very clean and the host made the check in process very doable. The location was on the bike trail and since the reason for our vacation was to explore the bike trails of Vilas county this met our needs very well. Overall a pleasant stay, Thank you Jay.

Just what we need for Fishin' headquarters

Everything worked as should. Zero complaints. Exactly what me and a buddy needed for a place to sleep and cook a few meals on a fishing trip. I would make a suggestion to have an outlet for plugging in boat more readily accessible, but we made it work no problem.

Overpriced for what it was.

Very smelly inside trailer, like cigarette butts in a stale beer bottle. Flies dead and alive all over inside. Bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. Hard to find which trailer it was with the directions, and you take the trash where to someone else’s apartment building. Also bad directions.

We are always disappointed to have a visitor that is disagreeable and impossible to please. We send you directions, maps and text a pin drop on a map. There is no smoking in the cabin and it is thoroughly cleaned. In the fall there can be a fly hatch, that happens while you are there and we can’t come in an clean it for you. Garbage is conveniently located at our property nearby on the way into town, and that keeps raccoons, and other varmints away. We even made sure you had a place for your boat to easily park and we are always available by text. But off course you didn’t have a kind word to be said. Good luck.
