Thank you for considering our Marco Island home, nicknamed “Out of Office”, as your next family/friend’s vacation! We certainly understand the stresses that go along with everyday life and are glad you are looking to get away on beautiful Marco Island. It has gorgeous beaches, beautiful water, and delicious restaurants!

Our home is in the heart of Marco Island and is less than a mile from the beaches the island has to offer. It’s a two-minute walk to several great restaurants and shopping, including Joey’s, Sami’s, Doreen’s, Thai Sushi, and much more!
Our home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open floor plan that totals over 1600 sq ft. We have a king primary suite that opens to the expansive pool area. It has a walk-in closet and a private bath with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a king-size bed and plenty of closet space. The third bedroom is perfect for our young guests featuring two bunks and a trundle bed. All the bedrooms have USB ports and Outlets easily accessible for all the electronics that come along.

The second bathroom has a tub, and shower, and features double sinks. All bedrooms and living spaces (including the lanai) have smart TVs to watch your favorite shows or sporting events. The kitchen has all new appliances, a bar with three stools, and all the amenities that are needed to cook your favorite meal or make your favorite vacation cocktail. Our living room provides ample space for family and friends to gather on the large, comfortable couch after a long day on the beach or exploring the island. The dining room offers a large dining table and features 3 sliding glass doors that fully open to an expansive screened-in lanai with outdoor seating, a dining area, and a heated pool! This house is about enjoying the best indoor/outdoor living!

Sit back and relax and enjoy watching your favorite sporting event on the outdoor TV or simply relax with a glass of wine under the stars. We also have plenty of board games and DVDs if you need to step back in time and get away from the phones or keep the kids busy.
If you want to head to the beach, you have your choice of beaches that are less than a mile away. Head over to the beautiful Tigertail Beach or you can head down to one of the public beach access points for Marco Beach. Tigertail offers a secluded beach setting that sits amid nature as you travel through a shallow bay of water and over to the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Marco Beach is just as beautiful and offers an expansive beach and all the water sports you would want while on vacation. We have 7 beach chairs, two umbrellas, a cooler, a spike ball, and sand toys for you to have a fun-filled day at the beach!

We welcome any questions to help you plan the perfect family or friend vacation. Need recommendations on renting bikes, scheduling a fishing charter, or renting a boat with a captain to take you out for the day...let us know! We can make any recommendations you need. We are here to help you have the most memorable vacation for you and your family or friends!

Cameras: We have two cameras on the property. One is the doorbell at the front door and the other is in the garage on the opener. Both are used to monitor the property while it’s vacant.

Paul was fantastic to work with. There were a few hurricanes leading up to our trip and he was constantly providing updates throughout. My husband communicated with him to have the house decorated upon our arrival for my birthday. He went above and beyond. The layout was perfect for our family of 4 and the kids enjoyed the pool! Wonderful vacation

Our family stayed her for 1 week - we have 7 children under 17 years old. The location was perfect, the home was inviting and clean, the indorr and outdoor spaces were welcoming and comfortable! All communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The caretaker of the property even brought in our groceries ahead of time and stocked the pantry and fridge. I highly recommend this property and hope to someday have the chance to return!

Very nice home with recent updates

This is a very nice home, the whole place seems to have recently been updated. The morning sun exposure is great. A couple nights we walked to dinner which is great for having that second glass of wine. While there was only two of us there was plenty of room for more people if your family is larger.

We had a wonderful week! It is a great family friendly house. The kids enjoyed all the beach toys and games. We appreciated all the beach towels provided. The pool is beautiful and spent most of the time there. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when our travel plans changed. He was available all week for any questions we had. Property owner was super responsive. House and yard were both very clean. Liked that there were some good restaurants super close walking distance. The beaches are difficult if you drive. Parking is sparse. Only suggestion from us:There are only five bikes. Should be more and/or scooters since the house sleeps nine. Would have been nice to have something for all of us. Otherwise we had a super stay. Thank you!

The property was very clean upon arrival. We had our son’s family (2 children ages 5 & 8) stay with us 4 days. The girls spend 2-1/2 to 3 hrs/day in the pool. There were plenty of pool toys in the garage. Also a cabinet in the living room was filled with games, etc. so the girls were never bored. Very accommodating for the family life. The location is within walking distance from a number of restaurants and shopping. We were very satisfied the the accommodations and will return in the future,

They thought of everything!

One of the best vacations we’ve ever had! The house is perfectly located, we rented a car but barely ever used it! The house is so clean and spacious and they’ve thought of everything! There’s a full kitchen that’s stocked with anything you need to cook in if you want. Each room has a TV and there is a big TV outside, we watched movies at night in the pool. There are tons of games if you want to have an evening in. We rented bikes for the week and walked or biked to everything! There are so many great restaurants that are just a short walk or bike ride away. We biked to the beach everyday. We spent a lot of time at the JW Marriot watching the fire show at sunset and eating dinner right on the beach! There’s so much to do! We can’t wait to go back!!

Chillin in Marco Island

If you're looking for a wonderful three-bedroom home, sleeps 8, and the chance to sit by the pool on the Lanai, work remote, make your own food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a well-aportioned kitchen, close to fabulous restaurants and grocery stores and a weekly farmer's market, then Out of Office Marco is the prime spot for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our month in Jim & PJs "home away from home." It met all our criteria for an escape from the cold north, where we both could work remote with strong wi-fi (who knows where you are logging in from anymore, am I right?). Jim & PJ, thank you so much for opening up your home to us,, for always being a quick text or call away for minor needs, for thinking of everything a couple/family could need. We were able to entice some of our kids to come down and spend a few days. We enjoyed the beaches together, pickleball raquet center (free after 4pm) less than two miles away, and excellent restaurants when we felt like treating ourselves for a delicious meal out. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

After several years of dreaming and searching, we finally purchased our first vacation/rental property. Our families have been vacationing with each other since our kids were young. Each year we went to different locations, looking for the perfect spot. We found that spot in Marco Island and decided to move forward with the property. It is primarily used as a rental but will also be enjoyed by our friends and family.

Why they chose this property

This property is located in a great part of the island where you can literally park your car for the week and spend time walking to restaurants and shops. All sidewalks are beautifully lit and are wide enough to share walkers, runners, and bicycles.

What makes this property unique

This house is set up to accommodate our 2 families, 5 kids, and 4 adults. It seemed that every house we have rented over the years always had old TVs, spotty Wi-Fi, and loose outlets, and they were not up to date with technology. So when we bought this house, we updated all of the TVs to smart TVs with Amazon Fire Sticks (or Fire TVs) and high speed Wi-Fi so that your kids can connect all of their devices without worry or you can sign into any of your streaming services, on any TV. Do we have chargers? Yes, we have charging stations in all the bedrooms and in the kitchen.
