About this property

Sea and Teide views - Castle with pool

With its terraces and turrets the house looks like a small castle. It is located on the north coast, between Puerto de la Cruz and Icod de los Vinos in the quiet village of Buen Paso. A small bar where you can eat and a small supermarket are within walking distance (about 100 m).

The view from the large roof terrace with the whirlpool is fantastic, from here you have a panoramic view of the sea and Teide.

Optional we can put up a whirlpool on the roof terrace. The price is € 10,00 per night. Also we offer to heat the pool for you. This price for a heated pool is € 12,50 per night. If you want to book one of these additional services (at least for one week) please contact us one week before you arrive.

On the inner terrace is an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and work area.


The house has 2 bedrooms with double beds and a large living area, which can be used as an additional double bedroom if required by the Italian sofa bed. The equipment is attractive and high quality.

A cozy fireplace invites you to cuddle on cooler evenings.

The kitchen is equipped with everything your heart desires. American fridge with ice-maker and water dispenser, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, various coffee machines and kettle.

There are 2 bathrooms, each with a walk-in shower. One of the bathrooms also has a bathtub. The other bathroom has a shower with bench and is ensuite connected to a bedroom. Hair dryer is available. Towels also.

The rooftop terrace also includes a hot tub and a sofa area, as well as a solar shower to cool off. Modern garden furniture and loungers, awning and parasols make the patio area a private chill lounge. Cushions for chairs and loungers are available.

On the additional inner terrace is an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and work area.

Buen Paso is located on a promontory in the northwest of the island of Tenerife and belongs to the municipality of Icod de los Vinos. The tourist pearl of Puerto de la Cruz with the famous Loropark, beautiful sandy beaches and other attractions are about 15 km away. Here in this holiday home, on vacation with a wonderful starry sky, sunrise or sun, let your soul wander!

Icod de los Vinos has many bars and restaurants serving local wine, tapas, fresh queso de cabra (goat cheese), papas y mojo (potatoes with mojosauce), variously prepared conejo (rabbit) and Freshly caught fish from the area can enjoy. The northern tourist capital of Puerto de la Cruz offers various activities in the direction of culture, sports, nightlife, Loro Parque, carnival and much more.

Perfekter Ort!
Wir wurden sehr herzlich von den Vermieter:innen empfangen und auch schon im Vorfeld "betreut". Wir haben überlegt, ob man etwas besser machen kann oder irgendetwas fehlt und kommen zu dem Ergebnis: Nein! Wunderbares Haus, liebevolle Einrichtung, komplette Ausstattung, zauberhafter Garten mit schönem Pool, günstige Lage für Ausflüge, gute Infrastruktur vor Ort. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke!!! Wir haben es sowas von genossen!

Zu Gast bei Freunden
Insgesamt sind wir mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden und haben es genossen. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist so konzipiert, dass sich Reisende ohne Andere in Ruheräumen zu stören, bewegen können. Ein +punkt. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass der Pool tagsüber im Schatten steht. Wir haben auch den Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse gebucht. Dieser steht frei und nicht windgeschützt. Bei wolkenfreiem Himmel und nicht allzu starkem Wind jedoch ein wunderbarer Ort, um Sterne zu beobachten. Die Nachvarn könnten beim abendlichen relaxbaden zusehen. Aktuell renoviert der Nachbar sein Haus. Ohne es konkret beurteilen zu können, wird man wohl mindestens bis Ende des Jahres von weiteren Arbeiten ausgehen können (geschätzt anhand des umliegenden Baumaterials). Das Objekt befindet sich im NW und damit im ruhigeren Teil von Teneriffa. Das sollte vor der Buchung bekannt sein. Wer Promenaden und Nachtleben sucht, ist im S der Insel besser aufgehoben. Im Vergleich zum S ist auch das Wetter im N milder/kühler. Während es im Norden bewölkt und ggf. auch regnerisch ist, schien im S die Sonne. Ein Lidl befindet sich unweit vom Haus. Das Haus sollte immer in Verbindung mit einem Mietwagen gebucht werden. Parkplatz vor dem Haus vorhanden. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet. Küche mit allen Geräten vorhanden. Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden bereitgestellt. Die Gastgeber sind wunderbar und jederzeit zu erreichen.

Schlösschen
Wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Schlösschen, zu einem schmalen Preis haben wir mehr als erwartet bekommen, die Vermieter des Schlösschen sind Herzens gute Menschen und haben uns auch sehr schön begrüßt uns alles genau erklärt und Reisetips für die Insel gegeben. Unsere Erwartungen waren übertroffen, es ist eine sehr sehr moderne Ferienwohnung wo hygienie auch groß geschrieben wird. Es gab nichts was uns gefehlt hat. Der Ausblick von der Dachterasse war einfach nur Traumhaft, nachts konnten wir den Sternenhimmel beobachten und haben sogar Sternschnuppen gesehen. Es war auf alle Fälle nicht der letzte Besuch.

Einfach perfekt!!
Wir haben 6 Wochen in dem wunderschönen Schlösschen verbracht und uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist einfach perfekt , ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und alle erforderlichen Küchenutensilien sind in sehr guter Qualität vorhanden. Das Häuschen und der Außenbereich sind mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, sodass man sich sofort heimisch fühlt! Ein großes Dankeschön an Irmel und Ronald sie sind prima Gastgeber! Wir werden wiederkommen! Liebe Grüße Helmut & Eva

Schlösschen mit perfekten Gastgebern
Wir waren leider nur für eine Woche in dem tollen Haus mit allem pi pa und po. Haben diese Woche aber aus vollen Zügen genossen. Dem Haus fehlt es an gar nichts. Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet, hat eine perfekte Küche, zwei sehr schöne Badezimmer und einen traumhaften Innenhof / Terrasse mit Garten. Wir haben uns super betreut gefühlt. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber. Unsere Empfehlung und wir kommen sehr gern wieder - dann mit dem neuen Pool :-)
