The Studio Above the Studio

This newly one bedroom studio apartment was freshly remodeled in the summer of 2022. It features a very comfortable king-sized bed with an open floor plan with a living and dining room. You will have your own private bathroom along with bath linens and towels, a blow dryer, custom bath soaps by Leo Jude Soap Company, and hotel style shampoo and conditioners.

The Studio is furnished with a new couch, dining table, and 50" Toshiba TV with Roku devise ( please bring you own logins for any streaming services). Local Spectrum Cable Television is provided along with high speed WIFI internet.

The kitchen is supplied with a microwave, refrigerator/freezer (ice trays in freezer), plates, bowls, coffee cups, glass cups, silverware, dish cloths/towels, soaps, and a coffee maker with complimentary Folger's coffee. The unit shares a laundry with a full time rented apartment next door.

Studio is clean and perfect size and space w/little noticeable wear & tear on ceiling. the building is old, has great bones and we just appreciate the historical look and feel. Host Jason is outstanding. Great communication, friendly and very accommodating w/my last minute inquiries. The location is beautiful, right off the Main street and walking distance to a handful of amazing gems of small businesses. Had no challenges sleeping. The bed is comfortable, bathroom provided amazing locally made soap bars and sufficient towels for our 3 night stay. Refrigerator was very appreciated, had their been a small kitchenette or grill outside we would’ve grilled our own steaks purchased by a local butcher. Had there been a complete kitchen. Grateful for the half kitchen that was provided to wash dishes from bringing takeout food back, and freezer/refrigerator to store our fresh market goods. All in all I would recommend this studio for a party of two. WiFi worked well along with window ac. I look forward to coming back and staying at the studio above the studio.

Very clean apartment and very easy to communicate with host. Second floor apartment and the stairs are not level so that was a bit unnerving. Would definitely stay again just want others to be aware of the stairs.

Clean, comfortable studio in downtown

The studio is super close to Arch & Eddies and right across the street from the Corber Pub. There was one parking space, which was fine because I was on my own with just one car. There was king size (I think) bed, big screen tv with roku, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, utensils (probably plates and stuff but I didn't look). All the linens were supplied - plenty of fluffy towels and was clothes - and even some cute custom soaps. The shower was hot with good water pressure. Space heater kept the place comfortable, and I've become wimpy about cold since moving to South Carolina. There was a window AC unit, but I didn't need to use that cause it was cold-ish outside. It was a little hard to find the door since it's in the back of the building and I didn't know ex

My husband (Jason) and I reside in Jackson and have our entire life. We have one child, Gibson who is 9 years old. I'm a Kindergarten teacher here in Jackson and Jason has his insurance business (Gillum Insurance) which is located in the same building as the Studio Above the Studio. My husband also has a podcast Studio called Chubby Guys Podcast which is primarily why we named the apartment, 'The Studio Above the Studio'.
