About this property

Country View Lodging In the heart of Amish Country

Welcome to our lodge. We invite you to come and enjoy our vacation rental. Our goal is to create a place where you can relax and be refreshed. You will find yourself out in the middle of Amish Country, where the horses in the pasture are happy to great you. Enjoy our wicker venue on the front porch, watch the horse and buggies go by. Our spacious area was the business of Country View Wicker for 22 yrs. We are sisters and grew up on the farm down the road.
The space
You will find our place handicap accessible for anyone with disabilities. The one bedroom has a queen with master bath. Second bedroom has a king with daybed and pullout twin pop up trundle. The main bathroom has the shower and toilet with handicap bars. There is a sofa bed in the main area that has an electric pump for the mattress. Stocked kitchen with a dining table that extends. Washer and dryer for you to use.
Other things to note
Enjoy the many things in the area to do. Charm is only 4 miles where Charm Pizza is a great place to eat or order delivery. Charm is also the home of Keim Home Center. Baltic, Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek and Berlin are less the 25 minutes with lots of shopping and dining options.

Amish Country heaven

Took my wife and in-laws to Holmes County, Ohio for the holiday weekend and stayed at this “Country View” cottage. Clean, quiet, spacious, and within 15 to the hotspots of Holmes County without being in the middle of it!

I enjoyed my stay. It was roomy and quiet. . .peaceful. The firmness of the bed was harder than I like and I thought the kitchen could have had a few more helpful items as I was staying in all three days, not leaving the hiuse.

Lovely Home in Ohio Amish Country

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this super clean, beautifully decorated home. Horses graze across the street. It was so peaceful there. It is close to a number of popular destinations in the area. I highly recommend this place.

It was a very nice place to stay. The property had all of the amenities of home. It was spacious with a large kitchen and dining room table to eat at. It also had good wi-if and a wonderful front porch to enjoy the scenic view from. We enjoyed our visit very much and would highly recommend it to others.

The home was very nice and spacious. Being able to spend mornings and evenings on the front porch was a very needed break. We found the location to be easy to get to from multiple directions and the hosts to be very nice. We would book again. Small note when we were there the fireflies were amazing at night.

Great place! It’s larger than what the pictures convey! We had a fantastic, relaxing time. The house was a great place to start and end the day. Watching the sun set from the front porch was the best.

Peaceful Getaway

We have stayed many places in Holmes County. This was simply the best. We had visited this home many times when it was a wicker store. It was neat to see how they converted it. I could go on and on about how nice it is but I won't. If you are thinking about staying here just do it. I can't wait to go back.

family time together

My mother sister was coming to visit from NC and they love the Amish county. I wanted to find a nice quite place that we all could stay together and enjoy family time. This was PERFECT it was all one floor and open. The porch was so relaxing and the view is awesome! The house was very clean, and the windows were spotless!! Beds very comfortable walk-in shower was plus to find. We would stay again.

Perfect!

This location was 20-25 minutes from anything we wanted to do and located in a quiet peaceful spot. The house was comfortable with lots of room. If you are foo f to watch TV though you may be disappointed, it’s location is t on a seated area. This didn’t bother me though since I enjoyed the front porch with a book. We are looking forward to a return trip!
