I want to start my review by mentioning that I'm a full-time world traveler and a vacation property host myself. Unfortunately, the host for this property could not be less accommodating from the start. Even though they said they could accommodate a 30-minute early check-in at first, they told us a firm no upon arrival. When I reminded them about a promise, they said - okay, fine. Their "rules" state that guests should book an extra night if they need an early check-in or a later check-out. I actually tried to book an extra night, but my messages were unanswered. When I asked for a 2 hours later check out, even though they had no one checking in the next day, it was a straight-up no. While the views from the penthouse are five stars, the service and communication are between 1 and 2 stars. You get an automated message during the weekend that they will get back to you on the weekday. The property itself is equivalent to a 3-star motel. AC is so old that it is just blowing freezing air straight at you that no matter what temperature you set it for, it will remain the same unless you turn it off, and then it will get hot and humid. Everything in the apartment is old, and nothing feels luxurious, especially for the expensive price you pay. Even though the views are spectacular, I suggest looking further, as you will find nicer rentals in the area for lower prices with hosts who would be happy to accommodate guests' requests.
