Luana Hawaii at Ala Moana Hotel Condo is located at 410 Atkinson Drive, adjacent to the Ala Moana shopping mall, the state's largest open-air mall. This 33rd-floor one-of-a-kind Presidential Suite was originally designed as the hotel developer’s residence. Featuring 4 bedrooms (1 King, 4 Queen Beds), 4.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, TV, Wi-fi, full kitchen, and full-size washer/dryer. You will have ample room to sit back and relax. Casually sophisticated and comfortably appointed for business or leisure, you'll find mountain and ocean views enhanced by the rhythms of the city, splendid sunsets, and the pleasure of your surroundings.

-NO DAILY MAID SERVICE IS PROVIDED. This is a vacation rental unit and is not a part of a hotel operation. There will be no towel/linen change. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available on the 6th and 13th floors.

Highrise Stay

My husband and I along with our 4 adult children stayed here while vacationing on the island. The kitchen and sitting areas offered a lot of space for us while inside. And each bedroom had its own bathroom. The views from the 33rd floor were breathtaking with both ocean and city views. The location was very convenient with the Ala Moana mall, restaurants, Foodland Farms, and beach within walking distance, and downtown Waikiki just minutes away.

This unit had 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens and a small office. This was one of my best hotel stays. It is very pricey but worth it if you can afford it.

Amazing Hawaiian Holiday Vacation

The property was perfect for what we needed for our family vacation. The place was clean and spacious. A few of the sliding doors did not close completely so wind and noise came through. The kitchens had everything we needed, and there were enough toiletries to get us started. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely place.

Fabulous Hawaii Vacation

Our party had a couple of days back on Oahu after our stay in Kauai, and I am SO happy we picked this property! It’s in the heart of Waikiki which enabled us to do some shopping, go to fun restaurants, spend another day at the beach and also feel like we were staying in the lap of luxury! This property is easy to locate, easy to check into, has 4 beds, 4.5 baths, 2.5 kitchens, 3 living rooms, stunning views, it’s literally amazing!! You can use the pool hotel, easily walk over to the Ala Moana hotel on the 2nd floor… plus it was clean and comfy! It was just what we needed to round out our two week Hawaii adventure! Would absolutely stay here again!

Best Day Ever!

When my grandson saw the place, he said, “This is the best day ever!” Everyone loved how spacious the living room, family room & dining area was. We stayed here fir our daughter’s wedding. It was beautiful & perfect! The view of the ocean was gorgeous. My family didn’t want to leave. Being next to Ala Moana Center was great too! We didn’t have to drive to get food. The only concern is parking is limited.

If you can afford it… awesome place to stay

Awesome place. Muti-generational Family of 8 stayed at and it was almost too big. It is next to the Best mall / shopping area in the state. Across street from great beach. If you are looking for giant pool and Mai tai service pool side, this is not that place. If you are looking for an amazing base to go an adventures or cook a big family meal at with the best views in town. You can’t beat this unit. FYI the Target at Ala Moana is 200 yards away so you can buy all your groceries there. I am definitely staying here next time I come to Honolulu. And I go to honolulu 3-4 times a year.

Ala Moana Hotel

The property was incredibly clean and spacious, and it could easily accommodate 10-12 people. We had a family of 8 staying in the unit. The views of the harbor and beach from the 34th floor were amazing. The only down side to being so high up is the elevator waits. We loved the location, as we walked over to Waikiki beach several times for dinner and we also utilized the Moana beach below our hotel. The mall is just next door, so we utilized it as well. There were many emergency vehicle sirens going off at all times of the day and night, which took some of the beach vibe away. However, that is just part of being in a large city, like Honolulu. We would highly recommend this property.

Great condo location

We truly enjoyed our stay in the owners suite at the Ala Moana Hotel. It is difficult to find a place with 4 bedrooms in this location. Unfortunately there were renovations going on and could not use the pool or the many lanais. For us the proximity to the mall with multiple dining options and location directly across the street from the Ala Moana Beach we’re key features. The furniture was adequate. The master shower/bath amazing. Lighting was a little off - especially the darkness of the kitchen and what we came to refer to the “dark room” - the 1/2 bath. With its near black walls and very poor lighting it could be a dark room. The appliances were great. Laundry is an essential for us and these appliances were top notch.

Large, great location, amazing views

It was very large and accommodated my group nicely, many amazing balconies with great views. We had some issues the first night with Loud Fire Alarms that would not go off for hours and no one would help us, which that was quite stressful! There was an Extreme disconnect between the Hotel and Property management company. Hotel Security finally helped us after 3-4 hours of multiple other hotel guests on the same floor also complained, the next day it was fixed. Hopefully the Hotel Management and the Property Management Company will have better Emergency Communication in the future so no other guests have to deal with what we experienced the first night. From then on out we had an amazing stay. We added an extra cleaning service halfway through our stay. The Housekeeper was very nice and thorough and well worth the extra fee. If we come back to Honolulu, I would consider staying again.

Gorgeous view but suite needs a refresh

Pros: The views from the various balconies were exceptional- we saw the ocean waves during the day and the sunset at night. The suite was spacious with the stated number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The proximity to the Ala Moana shopping center was excellent - able to grocery shop as well as shop for any other items one might need. Cons: The 2 living rooms and master bedroom were fine, but the kitchen and bathrooms appeared old and in need of a complete refurbishment. While the master bedroom was updated, the AC did not work for the entire stay. They brought in a small fan for the room and refunded a very small part of our total bill. The kitchen sink had mold around its rim and the floor was so dirty that the bottom of my white socks was completely black. The amount they charged for the “Presidential Suite” is excessive given the present condition described above. The upkeep appears to be neglected. If they could fix these deficiencies I might stay here again. However, its current condition does not warrant the stated rate for the suite.

High potential, deceptive owners and management.

This review would’ve been mostly positive. We were willing to overlook the problems we encountered since the location was nice and we had a beautiful view. We came into the property with dirty floors, a broken dishwasher, a frozen over fridge, and stains on a few couches. After we got home, I got an email that they charged us $178 to clean stains on the furniture that were obviously hidden by the past guests. We used the pull out couch for a bed and the bottom of the cushions had stains, which had obviously been flipped over by whoever stained them. We didn’t realize we had to log every imperfection in this giant presidential suite before we settled in. That was the last thing on our minds after a long travel day. So being the optimist I am, I thought—no big deal—I’ll contact the management company/owner and let them know of the misunderstanding. I confirmed with my party that the stains were there before us, and I emailed and called and logged my complaint. My communication was met with silence. No resolution, not even an acknowledgment or apology. I will update this review if they resolve the issue, but currently I would advise you to stay away from this place. There are plenty of other options on this beautiful island. Don’t settle.

Such an amazing property and location. The suite is huge and very nice. The property management responded quickly and was very accommodating. Parking is pricey. One of the dishwashers was not working but the second one was functional. Property management communicated that in advance and offered early check-in as an accommodation. Would absolutely stay here again with friends and/or family. Highly recommend this property.
