Fire Alarm Malfunction
Location is great with short walk into town. The fire alarm malfunctioned and woke us up 3 nights. They had company come out after each malfunction but couldn't fix the problem. Property manager agreed to compensate us for the inconvenience but never got back to us when I suggested an amount.

Just okay
Location was great! There were cob webs in one bathroom and mold in the master bath. No working light bulbs in the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bathroom cannot be considered to have a shower, bathtub only. Had trouble with the lock box but finally got it to work. Floors were dirty enough to turn our socks black. Some of the glasses were dirty and had to be washed before using. The fan in the master bedroom was thick with dust making it unusable. When we arrived, the door into the dining room was unlocked and that was lucky for us to get in and then work on the lock box. Hard to think we paid a high cleaning fee knowing that we had to strip the beds, wash the dishes, take out the trash and sweep the floors. The only thing the cleaning service had to do was wash the sheets and put them back on the beds.
We did not cook anything while we were there but there was a selection of spices and oils.
The location was perfect but other things left a bit to be desired.

It’s hard to believe you are describing my house as it is professionally cleaned every Sunday. There is NO mold or cob webs in the master bathroom, or the upstairs bathroom. There certainly were light bulbs in the light fixture when I left Sept 1. The carpets and couches and chairs were professionally cleaned in June, the floors are all washed every week. I have never had anyone complain about washing their dishes or taking out their garbage. If you walked out onto the porch or deck in your socks I can believe they got dirty, but not from the inside floors. I am sorry you were not satisfied. The cleaning people do much more than wash sheets and make up beds. Every week they clean and sanitize the bathrooms, wash all the floors, clean the appliances, dust all the furniture, clean the porch and the deck and make sure everything is ready for the next guests.
This property is wonderful. Location is fabulous. The four bedrooms with multiple beds was great for our large group. Interactions with the owner were really awesome and she responded to our minor questions and requests readily. Definitely would stay again.
This home was such a lucky find. As a group of moms, we finally had a chance to get away for a weekend and we were looking for a convenient home, a gathering place, clean and well cared for and great location to Edgartown. This was the place! The owner was very responsive, excellent to work with. She was able to let us check in earlier, which we greatly appreciated. Everything we needed was provided, the living room was amazing to relax and hang out in and the location could not have been better! We hope to make this an annual trip staying at this wonderful home.
Barbara's home accommodated 8 of us women for a long weekend. We were extremely satisfied with the location, cleanliness, size of the home and well equipped kitchen. There are two fabulous decks where we spent most of our time. All the women expressed that their beds were very comfortable. I personally loved the outdoor shower! Lastly, the bus stop is a couple of minutes walk from the house. The house was conveniently located to everything Edgartown has to offer!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house while attending our niece's wedding. The living room and covered porch was especially nice. The location is very convenient for walking into town. The master bedroom and adjoining bathroom was really nice.

A great vacation!
We’ve been coming to Barbara’s for about 15 years every summer and can’t wait to get back next year. The location is perfect and she has the best porch in Edgartown!

Great Girls Weekend!
We had an amazing stay at Barbara's home in Edgartown! We could walk everywhere downtown for food, shopping, etc. The house was also close to a bus stop for when we wanted to visit Oak Bluffs one afternoon. It was a great place to serve as "home base" while we explored the island. Her home is so lovely and had plenty of space for all of us. Everything was clean, she gave clear directions regarding the house, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a great weekend and will definitely be back!
