Not what I was expecting
The house itself is cute for its age.
I thought that the housekerping wasn't great when I saw what looked like white dust and small particles on the floor where a decorative wall had been placed. What I didn't know is that there was mold behind the wall. As the weeks went by, the wall starting to crack and peel. I was also starting to get sicker and sicker. I thought i had the flu but it was from the mold. The property manager would not even check it out immediately. He said that he was out of town. There was a funky odor in the bedroom that butted against the wall in the living room. There was a machine in the ceiling that was akways on. I left the property 9 days early and wasnt even given any compensation from the home owner. She never even contacted me.
Some smaller items are the fact that there wasn't any shower gel (not a big deal but included in the description) but nothing was done even after it was brought to the manager's attention. The other thing was the lack of a refrigerator filter which meant no ice. This was also brought to the manager's attention. I noticed that the previous tenant had also noticed this since there was a bag of ice in the freezer. These are just minor items but show that the description of the house details wasn't true. It also shows that the "decorative" wall in the description wasn't accurate.
It ended up being a nightmare.
