Peaceful Nest: Family cottage with boat slip on Lake George, NY

Revel in the peace and beauty of Lake George from the comfort of this welcoming lakeside cottage. There are two bedrooms (one queen, one with two twins) and a full sleeper sofa, new in 2023, in the living room. Peaceful Nest has a full bathroom, kitchen, and living room with ROKU tv, as well as an attached screened porch and a dedicated gas grill. Down at the docks, you can dip your feet, jump in for a swim, or tie up a boat you rent at a local marina or bring yourself. (Three boat slips are available at no extra charge. Please contact the owner to ensure your boat will fit and to reserve a slip in advance.) Peaceful Nest plus two other rental dwellings on the property share the use of one canoe, two kayaks, outdoor furniture, and a fire pit. There is ample driveway parking, and hiking trails are within walking distance.

Beautiful Property & Views Peaceful Nest is Handicap Accessable

We knew the lake views would be spectacular as we've stayed in the Lake George area many times. Of course, this was no exception!Our stay at Peaceful Nest was short so we didn't take advantage of many of the amenities.BUT, it was a huge bonus to find a ramp entrance as I have several disabilitities that make it hard to walk. Plus, while the beds were very comfortable, I don't sleep well in any bed but the reclining chair in the living room was perfect for me to sleep deeply & comfortably. We left happy, well rested & really enjoyed meeting the other guests.Our only tangles were trouble getting check in instructions and then never receiving check out instrustions even after reaching out. This was just a blipThe stay itself was great! Thank you!
