About this property

High Cotton is a beautifully designed and decorated new construction, two-story home in The Point subdivision.

Four bedrooms plus a loft with twin bunkbeds offer accommodations for 10 people.

Drop your cares at the door and enjoy the open floor plan with a large kitchen, dining, and living area! The primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is located on the main level and has a private entrance to the porch. You’ll also find a powder room on the main level.

Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a loft/second living area with a set of twin bunk beds. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and there’s a full bathroom in the hallway.

Grab a cup of coffee from the Keurig and step outside where you will find a fabulous wrap-around porch with a gas grill and dining area. Lounge or nap on the couch while you take in the lake views! Need a spot to play outside, the almost flat yard offers a perfect spot to enjoy outdoor activities.

There is a private dock that is big enough to lounge and soak up more beautiful views of Lake Martin.

Centrally located in many hot spots, High Cotton is just minutes away from Harbor Pointe Marina, Bluffs Daiquiri, Chuckwalla's Pizza and Marina, and the famous Chimney Rock! Approx. 30 miles from Jordan Hare Stadium, an hour's drive from Montgomery, and a 2-hour drive from Birmingham Airport

Memorial Day 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great. Nicely decorated and the kitchen was very well appointed. They had everything that we could have possibly needed. I would suggest using filtered water in the coffee maker. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck, but would have been nice to have stairs to exit the water. I would highly recommend this property. Booking, check-in, etc. was very easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time being together at High Cotton for Thanksgiving with family. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies ,games, puzzles, and summer necessities but not the best location. Didnt feel like a lake house even if the water would’ve been higher and in season. Convenient to stores, restaurants and Auburn. Pillows and mattress in downstairs master weren’t comfortable . Thank you for being such a great communicator with the check in process. Made lots of fun memories!
