This was an adorable little inn in a very cute little town. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, the room was well stocked, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Unfortunately, almost everything in the adorable town of Chester seems to be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, so if you come mid-week I recommend picking up sandwiches or something in a neighboring town and enjoying the cute outdoor space (picnic tables) around the inn.
The property has new owners and they clearly are working very hard to establish their business. The Inn was spotless, and they were very accommodating.
This is a fine place to stay. Everything is thoughtfully provided to make guests comfortable. The bed was very high quality, too. There were snacks, breakfast options, and good coffee available in the morning. Nothing fancy, but very useful and much appreciated.
Beds were comfortable. You check yourself in. There is no staff on site. We went in winter and there was a ton of ice on the walk to the front door and the parking lot was poorly plowed so there wasn't enough room for everyone to park. We also had no hangers. I texted the owner twice before I got some. Someone he knew was staying on the first floor with her children and she finally brought me some. This family treated the shared kitchen as their own space and it was filthy. Overall, the place needs some serious updating. I would not recommend.
