Our family of 4 and a dog stayed this wonderful house. We cooked most everyday and they had enough stuff to cook with. Location was great, beds are comfy and the house was clean! We will be back.

Cute Surf Getaway

Cute getaway on Surfers Row! Stayed here for the horse shows in Rancho Mission Viejo and it was only about a 15 min drive. Easy freeway access and about a 5 min drive to downtown San Clemente. Well appointed, clean and comfy, thanks for letting us relax in your home!

After my last rental (in Florida) I had given up on rentals, but a family wedding made it necessary to stay here. What a pleasant surprise! It has anything and everything you might want. They’ve considered everything you might need. Highly recommend.

The only problem is that has no air conditioning and since is very close tô The highway you have to sleep with The Windows closed. But the House is great, very well equiped and very clean.

Beautiful property with private yard

The property was beautiful and very comfortable for our family. The only challenge we had was operating the tv. We just weren’t familiar with how to use Apple TV. The customer service team was very responsive. A minor inconvenience and the location and home more than made up for this. The private yard was really nice for relaxing and playing corn hole.

not the most convenient place

Don’t go in the summertime because this place has no AC and it is hot and stuffy in there. Also it allows dogs, which is nice but it is very dirty. It does not have a hose to clean where dogs go to the bathroom when we showed up there were multiple poops in the backyard AlsoPeople are supposed to clean their food out of the refrigerator and cupboards. There was a gigantic old cake in the refrigerator which we still left there after we left because there was no room in the trash to get it out of there. Neighbors are also extremely noisy at night so good luck sleeping!Also fans did not work when we got there took the property manager until the next day almost 1130 in the afternoon to come fix the fans and also by the way keep in mind the place does not have AC pretty miserable. We had to buy our own portable AC unit at Home Depot, which they said that they would reimburse us for what we paid for it but we will see. over all I would never rent this place again.

Great place, highly recommend!

Our family of four had a great stay here. It is clean, convenient location, well-stocked. Beach supply (chairs, boogie boards, sand castle toys, umbrellas) in the garage as well as the (shared) washer & dryer. We used the grill one night and it was great, and the little yard is fun for the kids to go out & play some and there is a hose to wash off sandy shoes, feet, etc. The temp in the house stayed very pleasant with windows open mornings and evenings, and there are 3 fans in closets (which we used, but mostly just for white noise overnight). The highway noise did not bother us sleeping at all. This place is walkable to San Clemente State Beach (just across the highway and through the state park campground) and it is easy drive to Dana Point (where my kids did surfing lessons) and the other beautiful coastal beaches (we love Laguna Beach area). There is a little gem of a market (Primo Market) a block or two away, and we grabbed dinner there several times. Tacos, quesadillas, tamales, chips/salsa/guacamole, etc. San Clemente is a wonderful little town pretty much equidistant from LA & San Diego (an hour from each), and we spent a day in both. I highly recommend this place as an affordable & roomy place for a family to stay!

This house is very clean and in a great spot. Enough beds for 6 people plus 1 futon that definitely is for a child. Backyard is great for relaxing or playing cornhole. There is no AC, which would be a nice addition. It can get humid in the house with the windows open. Overall our family enjoyed the house and location!

Great place to stay

The house was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the location was great—about a ten minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the yard was cute. The house has obviously been renovated—the appliances, furnishings, and decor all seem new. The one exception was older windows that don’t always slide easily along their track. Communication with Vacasa was fantastic. They responded to text messages quite quickly. There is a washer/dryer and beach equipment in the garage, including a surfboard, beach umbrellas and chairs, boogie boards, etc. There are two available parking spots behind the unit. One note: there is no central A/C and while the weather was cool outside, the house got warm. There were fans in some of the closets, but we just kept the windows open most of the time.
