Waldo’s roots go back to 1841, when Dr. David Waldo first settled the area. What began as farmland quickly evolved into a close-knit town on the edge of Kansas City. Over time, it’s grown into a lively urban neighborhood while keeping its small-town charm.
Today, Waldo is home to over 600 businesses—60% of them locally owned—surrounded by family-friendly streets and a strong sense of community. It’s a place where neighbors know each other, and visitors are always welcome. Kitchen & Coffee Bar
The kitchen is a guest favorite, fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances and all the essentials for home-cooked meals. Coffee lovers will be thrilled with the dedicated coffee bar, featuring four brewing options: drip, Keurig, French press, and pour-over. A selection of k-cups, creamer, and sugar is provided with every stay. The kitchen is also stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes, and glassware for your convenience.

Main Floor Bedroom: Features a plush king-size bed, Smart TV, dresser, and a spacious closet for your personal belongings.
Upstairs Bedroom: Offers a comfortable queen-size bed, dresser, and closet space, perfect for guests who like to unpack and settle in.

The full bathroom is located on the main level and includes a shower/tub combo. Guests are treated to luxury Tommy Bahama bath products—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Each guest will receive one large bath towel, one washcloth, and a dark makeup towel for added convenience.

Bring your furry companions—this home features a fully fenced backyard where pets can safely play. It’s also a great spot to enjoy some fresh air or morning coffee.

*IDENTITY VERIFICATION and PROPERTY INSURANCE REQUIREMENT: To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with SafelyStay, Inc. to provide all reservations with damage protection of up to $1,500. This protection plan is $45 for all stays under 29 nights, and is included in the cost of your booking. Stays 30-59 nights will be required to pay an additional insurance premium of $305 directly on our website. Stays longer than 59 nights will be separately charged for damage protection extension at the rate of $130/30 days. Please note, guest screening is also required for any bookings made through VRBO or direct. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted by Safely to complete an identity verification before your reservation date for any direct or VRBO bookings.

*PETS - We do allow allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $125 for two pets which is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. Contact us for questions. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) This home has a fully fenced backyard. There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.
*CANCELLATION POLICY - Guests can receive a full refund minus processing fees (approximately 4%) if they cancel up to 5 days before check in. No refund will be provided if cancelling less than 5 days before check in.
*RENTAL AGREEMENT - We require all guests to digitally sign a rental agreement outlining all house rules once booking is confirmed.
