We just loved, loved, loved this place. It was one of the best places we have stayed thus far. The host was excellent, responsive and available (when needed). Truth be told, we didn't need anything. It has a brand new propane bar-b-que; a wonderful fire pit - with wood that was supplied for us to use; plenty of rooms all with King size beds. Although I used one of the twin beds because I don't like a soft matress. The twin was just right. It has a huge stove, a large dining room and family room. I could go on, and on but all I really want to say is, Yes, I most definately would rent again.Thank you Sarah!

We had a wonderful experience at the Country Boho! The house was clean and well stocked. It is a historic home with lots of interesting details. The views and outdoor spaces are very relaxing. The house is on a hill and is very private. We had a terrific thunderstorm that added to the adventure. 5 minute drive to Kenyon. The trail is very close as well.

Two keys to this property, (1) property is beautiful and (2) it’s a large 5-6 bedroom home! Bottom line it has a lot of nice features but in many cases they’re a little rough around the edges. Both the gas and charcoal grills are not useable in present condition. There’s an older Viking range that’s a tad rough. To be fair the main gathering area is very nice with a nice fireplace. The views are great, saw a couple Eagles perched above the house one morning.

Showed up to our booking it was disgusting, mess everywhere, toxic smell. It was 11p at night had our dog. Turned around and drove 4 hours back home. Luckily the host refunded our money but VRBO was not going to do a thing. Not offered another place to go , completely stranded

The hosts were welcoming, communicative, and provided so many extras to enhance our stay, the kitchen is very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, lovely and very comfortable. However, for a large group, the hot tub is quite small, and we did wish that the outdoor area provided more space and seating to sit around the fire.That being said, it is a beautiful area and we would definitely go back.

Hi Ruth, thanks so much for the stay! When you rented we hadn't even got the hot tub so not sure why the complaint about that or the 8/10 star review since it seemed like you liked it. It's a four person hot tub, not a six or eight. We just spent a lot of time and effort setting it up and hope folks will be able to enjoy as we try to make our BnB better and better. We also gave you family a huge discount on the place and left 3 packs of firewood, bought drinks for you to have and did a lot of extras! Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for the review!

Summer Wedding family retreat

Easy check in, and great communication with Sarah! The house is large with beautiful decor. Plenty of rooms for sleeping in luxury king beds! Kitchen is well equipped with gas stove and every utensil and appliance you could need. The yard is perfect for families!

Great stay. The chateau accommodated all of our needs, was surprisingly cozy and had amazing views of the sunset over the Kokosing River. Great amenities, fun design and an awesome kitchen.

Perfect place for Kenyon weekend

Thanksgiving Family Weekend

We had a large group with family from Maryland, Kentucky and Michigan. The house was wonderful with plenty of space, bedrooms and kitchen room for cooking our Thanksgiving feast. We appreciated Sarah and Ryan who were extremely responsive and helpful, giving us tips and info about the area for places to enjoy on our stay. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Country farm house

The house was well cared for and reflected the owners respecting of its age. It was enjoyed by all the guests. It offered a quiet setting to come back to stay each night. We did not need to prepare no meals during our stay. So, that made relaxation a treat. Many get conversations took some late into the early morning without disturbing others who sleep.
