Peaceful retreat

Really is a lovely setting! Very peaceful and so much better than a regular hotel room and much larger than the usual hotel room as well. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the screened in back porch eventhough the porch was located a distance from our room. The onsite laundry room was a plus.

Could be a fabulous VRBO. Staff needs to be larger to keep the place clean. Outside lighting is non existent; walking dogs late with no lights is hazardous. There were 3 snakes sighted in the first 5 days I was there. Walking in pitch dark is ridiculous. There's no seating! We had fabulous spring weather, a gorgeous screened in porch and NO CHAIRS! You also have the yukbig porch out front and oak trees out front as well with nothing to enjoy them on.. finally why do you not have a cart or dolly to move stuff in and out?

Love the unit. Clean and very nice. Soft bed. Location is out of town in a beautiful area. Very quiet even during the day. Very important to me because i travel and work at night. Only complaint i have is the description says kitchenette....but there is not an oven or range top in unit 11. The microwave has settings for airfryer and oven but i never tried to use those settings. Not a complete deal breaker for me and i would stay here again if back in the area.

Alabama Weekend

We received three different texts before our arrival. Room 11 with a unlock code. Then two more text room 15 with two different codes to unlock the door. Went to room 15. The codes would not work. Went to room 11. Code worked but the room was dirty. Garbage can was full and smelled. Bed was not made. Tried room 15 several more times. Codes would not work. Couldn't make contact with anyone that could help. Left and stayed at a hotel. The grounds are nice, and a clean room would have been nice too. It would have been nice place to stay if someone had put in the proper unklock codes.
