Beautiful location but checked into a room that hadn’t been cleaned by 7:30 pm

My experience through VRBO was smooth. My name was on the reservation and we truly enjoyed the property. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The only hiccup was that housekeeping reported they cleaned the unit. When we checked in and it wasn’t clean…dirty sheets, towels, dishes, diapers and trash from previous tenants. The housekeeping mgr went over and cleaned it with a friend as soon as she was called. 8:15 we arrived back at the unit and they were still cleaning. They made us wait rather than giving us a unit that was clean. When they saw us waiting, they rushed out. My daughter noticed a dirty towel hanging behind the door and many of the consumable products were not replaced. We question the cleanliness of the place in the form of sanitation because my daughter woke up with a horrible sore throat & cold for the entire trip. Wish it was better news, but Flagstaff & the area are beautiful & I would come back again. Just a housekeeping issue that could have been handled better. Also, the facilities close early (8pm)
