Spacious and Open Freshly Remodeled Beach House.

Thank you for the review. We pride our self on a clean, cool place to stay. We work hard to make sure we buy quality sheets, quality towels and supplies. It's upsetting to me that the maid service which I pay a lot of money for would miss the upstairs beds. It will be addressed so this never happens again. I hate to fire people who depend on seasonal work, but I find this horrible and as germ-a-phobia, I would have been much more mad than you. Please give us another chance and I will do everything I can to make sure every guest has clean house. Thanks You, Paul Speich

Hi Trevor, I hate to hear the sheets were not as clean as expected. I have no excuses; I have addressed it with the cleaning company and will make sure the sheets are run on full cycle every time. I think due to time constraints on the house being turned over between rentals in the same day, the staff ran the sheets on a quick cycle and the washing machine just doesn't clean as well on that cycle. I have address this is issue, so it doesn't happen again. Thank you for the review and i appreciate that you choose to stay with us.

I'm very sorry the house did not meet your expectations. We have spent a lot of time and money remodeling this house and making it nice and comfortable. We put in new beds, bedding, Mattresses, TVs, flooring, fans, and leather couches. There are 5 Tv's, I'm sorry one had a Dish Network Joey issue, which is being replaced. It still has streaming. As I let you know before you arrived, our golf cart was ruined by a guest. Please understand that we didn't replace it because a used golf cart costs $6,000, and if a guest wrecks it, it isn't covered by the rental insurance. There are several golf cart rental companies in the area. As for the window, it is double-pane and was not replaced during the remodel. As for trash cans, we do not have them because the animals knock them over. There are dumpsters just down the street to the left. The dishwasher was knocked out by power surges from the tropical storm two days earlier, and the motherboard is burned out. It hit the dryer, but the repairman was able to reset it. As for the dishwasher, it was replaced with a new one. We will scrub the washing machine and dryer. Again, I'm sorry it was not to your liking. When VRBO CALLED AND ASKED FOR ALL YOUR MONEY BACK AFTER YOU'D STAYED AND CHECKED OUT, I said no. I feel this review was more about that than your stay.
