We had a blast fishing on Lake Texoma and this house was perfect for our stay. We loved the split floor plan. The host left thoughtful things in case you forgot something. The living room was a good size and the covered front porch is amazing.

Fishing trip

We came from Michigan to fish for striper. The house was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood was quiet and the marina was close. There was plenty of room to park our truck and boat. We loved the large porch and large yard.

We have been married for over 33 years and have no greater joy than our 2 kids, their spouses and our 4 grandchildren. Steve has worked at Cox Communications for over 30 years and Kittie is a licensed real estate broker. We have 2 golden doodles named Mollie and Charlie. We love to go on cruises and scuba dive. When we’re not working or traveling, we of course love to go fishing and boating out on the lake.

Why they chose this property

After over 20 years of enjoying fishing out of Buncombe Creek, in 2022, we bought this home for weekends at the lake. We love to spend our summers enjoying the lake and winters cozying up by the firepit. We have had many family get togethers throughout the year and truly love being here! We decided to list it on Airbnb and VRBO as we’re not able to use our Happy Place as often as we would like. We wanted to share the beauty, peace and relaxation that are home brings to us with our guest.
